Instructions for integrating vehicle registration/vehicle registration into VNeID
Vehicle registration or vehicle registration is an important document issued by the State to the vehicle owner to prove property rights and is the basis for the vehicle owner to exercise the rights of the owner.
This is also one of the necessary documents to carry when participating in traffic.
First, you need to register for a level 2 electronic identification account.
After having a level 2 electronic identification account, follow the instructions below to integrate vehicle registration/vehicle registration into VNeID.
Quick guide: Open VNeID > select the Paper Wallet tab > click on Information integration > select Create new request > click on Select information > select Vehicle registration > enter complete and accurate Chassis number and License plate number > click the Submit request button.
Step 1 : Open the VNeID app on your phone, then go to the Paper Wallet tab and click on Information Integration .
Step 2 : Click the Create New Request button and tap Select Information . Then, select Vehicle Registration from the list of documents.
Step 3: Choose 1 of 2 Vehicle types: Motorcycle or Car.
Step 4: Enter fully and accurately the 2 required information: Chassis number and Vehicle registration number as shown on the paper vehicle registration.
Note that everyone just needs to enter the license plate number without adding special characters. For example: the license plate number is 51-U1 001.23, then just enter 51U100123 in the License Plate number field.
Then, check the box I confirm the above information is correct and click the Submit request button after checking and making sure the information is correct.
After completing the request to integrate vehicle registration into VNeID, a Request sent successfully message will appear.
The system will send the information provided by the user for review and approval before displaying it on the application.
What is the level 2 electronic identification account used for ?
The use of a level 2 electronic identification account created by the electronic identification and authentication system for electronic identity subjects who are Vietnamese citizens has the same value as the use of a Citizen Identification card in performing transactions requiring the presentation of a Citizen Identification card; has the value of providing information in citizens' documents that have been synchronized into the electronic identification account for competent agencies and organizations to compare when performing transactions requiring the presentation of such documents.
How to register a level 2 electronic identification account for people who already have a chip-embedded CCCD
- Citizens go to the police station of the commune, ward, town or the place where procedures for issuing a Citizen Identification Card are carried out to carry out procedures for issuing an electronic identification account.
- Citizens present their electronic chip-embedded Citizen Identification Card, provide information about their phone number or email address and request additional information to be integrated into their electronic identification account.
- The receiving officer enters the citizen's information into the electronic identification and authentication system; takes a portrait photo, collects fingerprints of the citizen coming to complete the procedure to authenticate with the Citizen Identification Database and confirms consent to register to create an electronic identification account.
- The electronic identification management agency notifies the account registration results via VNelD application or SMS message or email address.
How to register for a level 2 electronic identification account for people who do not have a chip-embedded CCCD
If a citizen does not have a chip-embedded Citizen Identification Card, the Public Security agency will issue a level 2 electronic identification account along with the issuance of a Citizen Identification Card.
