More than 3,700 cruise ship passengers welcome New Year 2024 in Ha Long

On December 31, information from the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism said that two super yachts carrying more than 3,700 international guests docked at Ha Long International Passenger Port to welcome the new year 2024 on the shores of the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay.

Specifically, the Portuguese cruise ship Vasco Da Gama, carrying 711 passengers mainly from Germany and a crew of 410 people, docked at Ha Long international cruise port for the first time.

The schedule for passengers on this cruise ship is expected to go to Hanoi to experience the old town and cuisine; Cat Ba Island (Hai Phong City) before returning to experience Ha Long Bay.

Celebrity Solstice of Celebrity Cruises (Malta nationality) carrying 3,044 passengers docked at Ha Long International Passenger Port.

The second cruise ship to dock at Ha Long International Passenger Port is Celebrity Solstice, owned by Celebrity Cruises (Malta nationality), carrying 3,044 passengers from many countries such as: UK, USA, China, Canada...; along with 1,183 crew members.

This is the 5th time this super yacht has brought international guests to Ha Long International Passenger Port in 2023.

During this visit to Ha Long, more than 3,000 guests on the cruise will experience Ha Long city tour; visit Ha Long Bay, along with other experiential services such as seaplane; overnight cruise on Ha Long Bay and visit Hanoi.

Notably, tonight, December 31, Ha Long City will organize fireworks to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the city's founding and welcome the new year 2024. This will be a memorable experience for international visitors when having an exciting trip on the shores of the World Natural Heritage Ha Long Bay.

As planned, tomorrow (January 1, 2024), the Quang Ninh Department of Tourism will also coordinate with Ha Long International Passenger Port and related units to organize a ceremony to welcome the delegation, celebrate the New Year and give flowers to the delegation of cruise ships arriving at the port on the first day of the new year 2024.
