122 entries with 201 contestants gave live speeches at the "Green Voice" competition's Confrontation Round, presenting many ideas to solve environmental problems.

In the Confrontation Round, the topics that interested the contestants included: Green consumption (23%), Green education (17.3%), Green environment (13.1%) and Green tourism (11.5%). The contest took place in a direct format with the participation of 201 contestants from 70 high schools in 32 provinces and cities nationwide.

The competition will take place on February 24-25 in Hanoi (for contestants in the North) and March 2-3 in Ho Chi Minh City (for contestants in the South). Individuals and teams will be divided into two groups: Vietnamese and English, based on the language selection in the registration form. Each individual and team will compete directly with other individuals and teams in the same group, randomly arranged by the Organizing Committee.

At the end of the Confrontation Round, the 16 individuals and teams with the highest scores will move on to the Ranking Round, scheduled to be held at VinUni University on March 23-24.

The organizers said that the competition initially planned to select about 100 individuals and teams to participate in the Confrontation Round. However, after scoring the Preliminary Round, the Jury determined that most of the ideas were of good quality, clearly demonstrating the creativity and potential of the contestants. Therefore, the organizers decided to increase the number of individuals and teams in the Confrontation Round to 122.

According to the judges, this proves the appeal and spread of the "Green Voice" contest. On the team's side, the young people demonstrated their courage, thinking ability, and creativity in identifying and solving current environmental challenges.

The judges highly appreciated the confident presentation, fluent expression, and skillful combination of body language and expression of the contestants. The combination of illustrations in the video is also very unique and creative, attracting viewers. The way the ideas in the video are explained is clear and easy to understand, adding value to the content conveyed.

Speaking about the results of the Preliminary Round, Dr. Le Thai Ha, Executive Director of the Green Future Fund, expressed his impression of the ideas in the speech contest. The contestants thoroughly researched current environmental issues, quickly updated developments in the world and the situation in Vietnam. More importantly, they proposed practical ideas and solutions that were close to daily life.

Dr. Le Thai Ha added that despite having to judge hundreds of videos, the judges did not feel tired because of the vivid performance in each entry, showing careful investment and a serious process of self-study and learning about video production techniques.

"I hope you will continue to promote this creative spirit in the upcoming rounds in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City - the most intense rounds of competition," Dr. Le Thai Ha emphasized.

The organizers hope that the two seminars will provide much necessary information and skills and add motivation and inspiration for the contestants to perform their best and win high prizes.

The "Green Voice" debate contest is one of many specific activities launched by the Green Future Fund, a member of Vingroup. The program aims to raise public awareness and encourage society to join hands to act for a better future.

The contest aims to discover creative ideas, with fresh and modern perspectives from young generations across the country.
