The delegation will have practical and meaningful activities such as: organizing gratitude to heroic martyrs; visiting and giving gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, war invalids, sick soldiers, and heroic Vietnamese mothers; supporting the construction of gratitude houses, construction of civil works, supporting livelihoods for people... in provinces and cities, supporting people in mountainous, remote, isolated and disadvantaged areas.

In particular, this trip will include giving gifts to veteran journalists, veteran journalists, and relatives of martyrs and journalists; giving computers and bicycles to poor but studious students; and building classrooms for primary schools...

Presenting a 0% interest credit package worth 100 million VND to 10 poor households. Presenting 10,000 national flags and equipment so that fishermen can confidently go out to sea and stick to the sea; presenting charity houses and breeding cows to households in difficult circumstances...

It can be said that every year on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27, the Vietnam Journalists Association coordinates with press agencies and organizations to organize many meaningful activities in the North Central provinces, especially Quang Tri province, to express gratitude and deep appreciation to the heroic martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers, policy beneficiaries, and families of wounded and sick soldiers who have sacrificed their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the nation.

The series of activities in the "Lighting the Flame of Gratitude" program is expected to take place from July 18 to 21, 2023.
