Attending and chairing the conference were Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi; Vice Chairmen of Provincial People's Committee Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh, Le Trong Yen; Head of Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Ha Thi Hanh; leaders of departments, branches, units, localities in the province and 136 outstanding cadres and women's union members representing women in the province.

The conference aims to create conditions for female cadres and members to express their thoughts and aspirations; propose and recommend difficulties and shortcomings in implementing Party policies, State policies and laws related to female cadre work and measures to support women to advance in all fields to achieve gender equality.
The conference contributed to promptly detecting problems and issues arising to propose solutions, promptly removing difficulties, and continuing to promote the role, position and potential of women in the coming time.
The Dak Nong Provincial Women's Union has directed all levels of the union to coordinate with units and localities to synchronously implement programs, plans and projects on gender equality; and prevent and combat gender-based violence. The propaganda and dissemination of laws on gender equality have been promoted and created changes in the awareness and responsibility of the entire political system as well as the whole society.
Local authorities, Party committees and authorities at all levels pay attention and create favorable conditions for women to participate, contribute their efforts and intelligence, and gradually affirm their role and position in life and society.

Thereby, the work of gender equality and enhancing the role and status of women has achieved remarkable results. Many gender equality goals in the fields of politics, economics, labor, employment, education and training, health, etc. have seen significant improvements.
Chairwoman of the Dak Nong Provincial Women's Union, Ms. H'Vi Eban, said: "The outstanding results from the movements and activities of women's unions at all levels in the province have contributed to building Vietnamese women of the new era with four criteria: having knowledge, having morality, having health, having responsibility for themselves, their families, society and the country. Dak Nong women have raised their awareness and actions through proactively participating in activities, movements, programs, projects of the union and local organizations."
