Conference to announce the decision to establish the Trade Union of the Ministry of Home Affairs Office

Chairwoman of the Ministry's Trade Union Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy presented the Decision on establishment and flowers to congratulate the Ministry's Office Trade Union.

Attending the Conference were comrade Vu Dang Minh, Party Secretary, Chief of the Ministry's Office; comrade Nguyen Van Thuy, Director of the Legal Department; comrade Nguyen Thi Ha, Permanent Vice President of the Ministry's Trade Union; comrades of the Ministry's Trade Union; representatives of the Party Committee, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Ministry of Home Affairs; representatives of the Executive Board of the Trade Union of grassroots units; representatives of the trade unions of units in the Ministry's agencies; comrades in the Executive Board of the Ministry's Office Trade Union; leaders of departments, teams and all members of the Ministry's Office Trade Union.

With the consent of the Party Committee of the Ministry and the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs Trade Union decided to establish the Ministry Office Trade Union on the basis of upgrading the Ministry Office Trade Union directly under the Ministry of Home Affairs Trade Union. The provisional Executive Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs Office Trade Union consists of 07 comrades with comrade Tran Thi Thai as Chairwoman. The provisional Inspection Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs Office Trade Union consists of 03 comrades with comrade Tran Thi Kim Ngan as Chairwoman.

On behalf of the Standing Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Ministry of Home Affairs Trade Union Nguyen Thi Ha announced the Decision to establish the Ministry Office Trade Union.

Speaking at the Conference, on behalf of the Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Ministry's Trade Union Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy congratulated the Ministry of Home Affairs Office Trade Union on being established and becoming a grassroots trade union under the Ministry of Home Affairs Trade Union.

Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy said that the Ministry Office Trade Union is a strong trade union with a large number of union members. The Ministry Office organization has affiliated organizations. Therefore, with the consent of the Party Committee of the Ministry and the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, the Standing Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs Trade Union decided to establish the Ministry Office Trade Union on the basis of upgrading the Ministry Office Trade Union directly under the Ministry of Home Affairs Trade Union, which is suitable for the organization, practice and aspirations of the majority of union members.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy suggested that the Ministry Office's Trade Union should soon complete its organizational structure, continue to promote the tradition of solidarity and responsibility to build an increasingly developed and strong trade union organization, contributing positively to the achievements of the Ministry Office's Trade Union in particular and the Ministry of Home Affairs' Trade Union in general.

Speaking at the Conference, on behalf of the leaders of the Ministry Office, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief of the Ministry Office Vu Dang Minh respectfully thanked the Party Committee of the Ministry and the Ministry of Home Affairs' Trade Union for always paying attention, creating conditions and helping the Ministry Office to perfect its organizational structure from the government, Party Committee, Trade Union, and Youth Union.

Comrade Vu Dang Minh emphasized that the Ministry of Home Affairs Office Trade Union has been established, has its own seal and account, and has full legal status to operate; at the same time, the Ministry Office Trade Union is the core trade union among the 8 trade unions under the Ministry Trade Union, and needs to comply with the Trade Union Charter, promote the role of trade union members in contributing to the organization's development, and actively contribute to the overall activities and results of the Ministry Trade Union.

In order for the Ministry Office's grassroots Trade Union to operate effectively in the coming time, comrade Vu Dang Minh hopes to continue to receive the attention, leadership and close direction of the Party Committee and the Ministry's Trade Union, the coordination, cooperation and support of the departmental trade unions and trade unions of affiliated units to have more diverse and practical activities, taking care of the lives of union members; thereby, attracting and gathering union members and promoting the role of union members in activities, doing a good job of political and ideological work.

Chief of the Ministry Office Vu Dang Minh suggested that, as an organization representing the interests of workers, we should try to organize many meaningful activities for union members to participate in, to build the Ministry Office's grassroots union to be increasingly strong and developed, and to actively contribute to the common achievements of the Ministry's union and the Ministry.

Speaking at the Conference, Chairwoman of the Ministry Office Trade Union Tran Thi Thai sincerely thanked the attention, leadership and close direction of the Party Committee, the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, the Ministry of Home Affairs Trade Union, and the Ministry Office Party Committee for creating conditions, helping and allowing the Ministry Office Trade Union to be established on the basis of upgrading the Ministry Office Trade Union; at the same time, reviewed the results of the trade union activities achieved by the Ministry Office Trade Union in the past time.

Comrade Tran Thi Thai said that, realizing the role and responsibility of the grassroots trade union organization, the Executive Committee of the Ministry Office's grassroots trade union strives to unite and organize well the trade union activities launched by the Ministry's Trade Union, strictly comply with the Trade Union Charter, and fulfill the tasks and roles of the grassroots trade union - the core of the Ministry's Trade Union to contribute many achievements to the common activities of the Ministry's Trade Union. Actively advise and assist the Ministry's leaders and the Ministry's Office's leaders to fulfill their professional tasks; at the same time, represent and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of trade union members, care for the lives of trade union members, and pay special attention to propaganda, education, and building a team of civil servants and workers who increasingly meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation of the Ministry.
