On July 22, the working group of the Red Cross Society of Binh Thanh District (HCMC) organized medical examination, consultation, medicine provision and gift giving for 200 households in A Dok Commune, Dak Doa District, Gia Lai Province.

In addition, the delegation also presented 50 gifts to leprosy patients at Linh Son Pagoda (Dak Doa District). The total value of the activity was 140 million VND.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang An, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society, said that in recent years, units of the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross Society have carried out many activities to help ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands provinces.

The medical examination and treatment and gift giving activities for the people in A Dok commune this time also aim to implement the Party and State's policy in caring for the people in the Central Highlands. Through this activity, the Binh Thanh District Red Cross in particular and the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross in general hope that the people here will always unite and work together to build a prosperous homeland.
