Robot Assembly and Programming Competition for students - MYOR is organized by Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union in coordination with GaraSTEM Education Technology Joint Stock Company, Center for Youth Science and Technology Development is the permanent unit of the Organizing Committee.

This is one of the competitions attracting students about STEM - Robotics for students from elementary to high school.
During the registration period, the competition attracted nearly 200 teams registered in Ho Chi Minh City and nearly 250 teams registered from other provinces and cities such as Kien Giang, An Giang, Dong Nai, Lam Dong, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Quang Ninh, Nghe An ... double compared to 2022. The semi-finals in Ho Chi Minh City and provinces and cities across the country with the participation of nearly 1,000 contestants from 180 schools.
This year, the 6th MYOR Robot Assembly and Programming Competition for Students was held with the theme "Green Space", with the desire to help students better understand the importance of environmental protection and find solutions by using technology and Robots through STEM subjects for students.
At the MYOR competition, students will learn how to assemble, control and program robots to solve problems related to the environment and green spaces.
"I learned about this competition through joining the Robot Club at school. At first, I wasn't passionate about it, but after joining, I found it interesting and liked it and entered the competition. In the future, I will learn more about this subject" - Luc Gia An, class 5/3, Van Lang Primary School, shared.
"It took me 2 days to prepare for this competition. During the preparation for the competition, I did not encounter many difficulties, only the chip part was a bit problematic. I really like playing Robot, I hope to have the opportunity to compete in a better competition in the future" - Tang Khoi Triet, class 5/3, Van Lang Primary School, expressed.
Mr. Truong Vo Huu Thien, representative of the contest's organizing committee, said: "Training must start from young children like elementary school. Older students will have specialized knowledge, younger students will gradually start to get acquainted with science and technology. From now on, when they grow up, it will be easier to cultivate specialized knowledge."
The top-performing teams at the MYOR Robotics Competition 2023 finals will be sponsored with scholarships to participate in the MYOR International Competition held at NanYang Technological University, Singapore, one of the world's top universities in technology.
Every year, the Robot Creation Contest brings many topics that closely follow current events and society so that students not only gain knowledge about Robots but also apply them to society.
