(Dan Tri) - Overcoming many strong competitors, a group of students from Ung Hoa B High School and Hanoi Amsterdam won first prize in the "Vietnam Artificial Intelligence 2024" competition.
On December 21, the "Vietnam Artificial Intelligence 2024" award ceremony took place in Hanoi. The award aims to honor creative ideas and open up opportunities for candidates to connect and learn from the world's leading experts.
After three months of launching and organizing, the "Vietnam Artificial Intelligence 2024" Contest attracted many unique ideas from contestants nationwide, with many topics in life.
"Artificial intelligence" is no longer limited to programming languages but also has cultural, social and historical values in the era of growth.

The international jury selected the best teams based on creativity, practicality and community service. The awards ceremony not only honored young talent but also provided an opportunity for contestants to present their ideas and receive direct feedback from industry experts.
Accordingly, the first prize of 50 million VND belongs to the team of Tran Khanh Thanh, Dang Huy Khanh, Nguyen Huy Anh, Dau Hoang Minh, Cao Ngoc Manh Linh (Ung Hoa B High School and Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted (Hanoi).
Second prize of 30 million VND went to two male students Mai Hoang Nam and Dong Ngoc Hung (Nguyen Khuyen High School (Nam Dinh).
Third prize of 15 million VND went to Luu Cong The Hien (Tran Nhan Tong High School, Hanoi) and Nguyen Hoang Thien Thanh, Yash Iyer, Duong Dong Nghi, Vo Thien Kha (Western Australia High School, Ho Chi Minh City).
In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded young talent prizes to 5 individuals and teams.

The "Vietnam Artificial Intelligence 2024" Forum with the theme "Vietnam's Aspiration to Create Vietnam's Position" provides a comprehensive view of the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in shaping the future of Vietnam and the world.
This year's competition attracted thousands of students across the country, with creative projects applying AI in the fields of education, health, environment, and art.
The forum gathered many leading experts such as Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Executive Director of the Boston Global Forum (BGF), introducing the topic "AIWS 24/7 Government and Opportunities for Vietnam" - a breakthrough initiative to build an AI-based government with transparency, efficiency and continuous service to the people.
Professor Thomas E. Patterson from Harvard University shares the global AI development trend, emphasizing how AI education in the United States is helping the young generation adapt to the high-tech era. According to Mr. Thomas E. Patterson, AI not only changes the way of learning but also shapes creative thinking, preparing the young generation to face future challenges...
"AI can help Vietnam make economic leaps, to reach the same level as some countries in the region. I believe that young people have an important role to play in bringing AI into life," said Mr. Thomas E. Patterson.

Sharing at the ceremony, the representative of the Organizing Committee said that 2024 is a turning point in the national digital transformation process.
The Prime Minister emphasized in this year's development orientation that developing the digital economy with four pillars: IT and communications industry, digitalization of economic sectors, digital governance and digital data - is the driving force for rapid and sustainable economic development.
In the context of the global enlightenment era, when artificial intelligence becomes the center of the scientific and technological revolution, Vietnam is gradually affirming its position in the world technology community.
The "Artificial Intelligence 2024" Competition and the Artificial Intelligence Forum with the theme "Vietnam's Aspiration to Create Vietnam's Position" are one of the proofs of that aspiration.
