With close direction and continuous efforts, up to now, departments, branches and localities in the province have completed the general inventory of public assets. At the same time, units are also urgently conducting an inventory of infrastructure assets to strive to complete the report to the Ministry of Finance before May 31.
Implementing the general inventory of public assets, the Provincial Public Administration Service Center has 14 units subject to inventory, including the Central Office and 13 branches of the Public Administration Service Center in localities. The number of assets subject to inventory is nearly 1,500 assets of all types, including: Offices, cars, machinery, equipment, application software, etc. Therefore, the Center has developed an inventory plan, established a steering committee, and urged units to promptly complete it. At the same time, regularly organize online meetings with branches to grasp the progress, promptly grasp difficulties, and propose solutions. By synchronously implementing solutions, the Provincial Public Administration Service Center has completed the inventory, entered data into the general inventory software of public assets, and compiled a report to send to the Department of Finance for approval. The Center's report was approved by the Department of Finance on March 26, with 100% of the inventory assets accounted for, recorded in accounting books for depreciation according to regulations and used for the right purposes.
With resources from the Central and the province, in recent times, Vietnam - Sweden Uong Bi Hospital has received attention for investment in upgrading many items, facilities and medical equipment. Through review, the hospital currently manages nearly 2,500 public assets invested by the State of all kinds. Implementing the general inventory under the direction of the Government and the province, the hospital has established a steering group, issued a plan, and organized an Inventory Council. At the same time, it has developed a public asset inventory process to apply in departments and rooms; arranging time for actual review to ensure no interruption to medical examination and treatment. Along with that, the hospital also applies software for inventory.
Master, Doctor CK II Le Duc Diep, Deputy Director of Vietnam - Sweden Uong Bi Hospital, said: This general inventory of public assets has a large inventory volume, long time with many data, tables, requiring very high accuracy. Every year, the hospital proactively reviews, counts, inventories assets, records and stores them completely. This is important data to help this general inventory of public assets take place quickly, smoothly and effectively. Thanks to that, the hospital has completed and approved the general inventory report of public assets since March 21, thereby helping the unit to re-evaluate the overall, promote the effectiveness of public assets, and serve as an important basis for proposing investment in the coming time.
Up to now, the whole province has completed the inventory of public assets with 100% of units having their reports approved.
Regarding infrastructure assets, agencies and units are urgently completing, promptly removing obstacles, actively coordinating to soon complete the report to the Department of Finance before April 30. Typically, such as the Department of Agriculture and Environment - a unit with a large number of infrastructure assets, the Department has issued plans, established working groups to direct, guide, and urge the implementation of the inventory of public assets at agencies, organizations, units, and infrastructure assets invested by the State under its management. Performing the task of being a specialized management agency in the agricultural sector, the Department has assigned specialized units to count 5 types of infrastructure assets at 120 units with 438 assets to be inventoried in the province. At the same time, there is a document requesting agencies, units, localities, and enterprises to complete the general inventory and send it to the Department for synthesis and sending to the Department of Finance. During the implementation process, the Department organized direct working sessions with units and localities with many problems, promptly reporting and resolving the problems.
Mr. Vu Duy Van, Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, said: Up to now, the Department of Agriculture and Environment has reviewed and compiled a report on the general inventory of all public assets and infrastructure assets for units and sent it to the Department of Finance to ensure the general progress of the province . For assets that are infrastructure managed and used by units and localities, the Department will conduct an inventory . Continue to urge units and localities in the province to complete the report on the inventory of public assets and submit the report , and at the same time request the Department of Finance to delegate the right to share the account to access the general inventory software, so that the Department can directly access and review the results of the general inventory of each type of specialized infrastructure assets of the units. Based on the review results, the Department will organize direct work with units and localities to synthesize and send to the Department of Finance to ensure before April 30, 2025 according to the general plan of the province.
