Miss Thanh Thuy reveals the reason for winning the Miss International crown

Winning Miss International, Thanh Thuy said her highlight was expressing Vietnamese cultural traditions and her own personality instead of forcing herself into a model to fit the contest.

On the afternoon of November 19, Miss International 2024 Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy was present at Tien Phong Newspaper headquarters in Hanoi to attend a meeting and exchange with fans and reporters.

Having been crowned Miss Vietnam 2022 organized by Tien Phong Newspaper, Thanh Thuy is happy to return "home".

Miss Thanh Thuy said that she received support from many audiences during her competition. She is proud of her journey and is even more excited to be the successor to the Miss International title.

Winning Miss International, Thanh Thuy said that her outstanding point was expressing Vietnamese cultural traditions and her own personality instead of forcing herself into a model to fit the contest. “That could be the basis for the judges to see my outstanding qualities,” Thanh Thuy affirmed.

The beauty considers seniors who have been successful in international competitions such as Do Thi Ha, Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, Luong Thuy Linh, Ngoc Hang... as role models and inspirations to conquer international crowns.

Thanh Thuy said that the contest promotes cultural exchange and the best image is contestants helping each other. Therefore, she learned culture from international friends and at the same time promoted Vietnamese culture at the contest.

"After 1 week of being crowned, I am enjoying the joy of victory, being welcomed with love. I believe that the journey ahead will have many interesting things. In the Miss International contest, I actively promote Vietnamese culture, and at the same time introduce to international friends beautiful images of my youth.

When wearing the national costume of the Lotus Silk, I introduced the ao dai to my international friends, saying that this is a popular costume, worn by many high school girls to school. It is a beautiful image of Vietnamese schoolgirls. Thanh Thuy herself often wears the ao dai to school," the new beauty queen shared.

Miss Thanh Thuy is enjoying the joy of victory.

With the question: Regarding her innocent and carefree personality, has Thanh Thuy changed to be more suitable for the title of Miss International? The beauty affirmed that her true personality helps people love her more, and does not affect her position as Miss. That personality makes the person opposite feel her sincerity. Regarding the mission and duty of a Miss, she still completes it seriously.

Answering the question: Currently , there are many beauty pageants, the audience cannot remember all the names. Does Thanh Thuy think that if there were fewer pageants, she would be more famous and have more influence? Thanh Thuy said: "Currently, there are many beauty pageants, but I think that is a way to promote the beauty of Vietnamese women. International friends always think that Vietnamese beauty is very strong in the international arena, and they are wary of me and other beauties from Vietnam. That is the advantage that many beauty pageants bring. Therefore, having many pageants does not affect Thanh Thuy's position in the public's heart."

Miss Thanh Thuy knows that with the crown on her head, she needs to take on a lot of pressure. However, she does not let this pressure oppress her, and does not allow her to freely express her personality. Therefore, she considers that pressure as motivation to continue to strive, ready to complete her tasks and missions.
