The organizing committee of the Mrs Earth Vietnam contest held a meeting with the press and 30 contestants in the common house, preparing for the semi-final and final night taking place on June 29-30 at the Hanoi Opera House.

Miss Phan Kim Oanh, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, said that at the common house, the contestants have a meaningful schedule: Visiting and offering incense at Uncle Ho's mausoleum, giving gifts to children at SOS Children's Village... In addition, the contestants will practice with the stage director to prepare for the catwalk and talent show.

However, with the Mrs Earth Vietnam competition, I see that the contestants are getting "younger" in age. They are dynamic, youthful, knowledgeable and have social status. It will be very stressful to choose the contestant to win the highest position because they are all equally talented and beautiful. However, I am confident that I will find someone worthy."

At the press conference, Miss Phan Kim Oanh was moved when she unexpectedly received a birthday party and a bouquet of roses from Meritorious Artist Tien Quang (Quang Teo).

"Recently, I was so busy that I forgot my birthday. It was touching that everyone remembered and celebrated it on stage for me like this. Quang Teo is someone I admire very much for his talent and lifestyle. He is very friendly, approachable and enthusiastic in his work. Meanwhile, Quang Teo said he witnessed many memorable milestones in Phan Kim Oanh's life and was very impressed.

Mrs Earth International is a beauty contest for ladies held annually in many countries such as: USA, Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Australia, India, UAE, Thailand... attracting many contestants.

The contest is held with the aim of encouraging talented and beautiful women to spread the message of protecting the earth, protecting the green environment, and the environment in daily life.

This is the first time the contest is held in Vietnam with Miss Phan Kim Oanh as the President and Head of the Jury. The final round will take place on June 30 at the Opera House, Hanoi. The winner will represent Vietnam to the Philippines to attend Mrs Earth International in November 2024.
