In 2024, the provincial Tourism Department has effectively deployed and implemented many key tasks, contributing to attracting tourists to Thanh Hoa.

Along with that, the provincial HHDL has actively participated in tourism promotion events organized by the province and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, such as: linking tourism development with the provinces/cities of the extended Red River Delta; promoting and advertising tourism in Ninh Binh - Thanh Hoa - Nghe An - Ha Tinh "Four localities - One journey - Many experiences"; Dien Bien Culture and Tourism Days in Thanh Hoa; Trade and Tourism Fair of the Western Thanh Hoa region...

Through events, the provincial Tourism Association and its member businesses have promoted their images, products and tourism services to partners.

Human resource training and development has been effectively implemented. In 2024, the Tourism Training and Promotion Center (under the provincial Tourism Promotion Board) organized tourism training courses in Sam Son City with the participation of nearly 100 students; 1 class in Thanh Hoa City with 50 students attending...

In addition, social work and charity are focused on by the provincial HHDL. Specifically, the provincial HHDL and member enterprises have supported 280 million VND to support and build houses for poor households, policy families, and households with housing difficulties in Thanh Hoa province; supported northern localities to overcome the consequences of storms and floods with an amount of 280 million VND...

Promoting the achieved results, in 2025, the Provincial Association of Women's Union will focus on deploying and effectively implementing 5 key groups of tasks including: consolidating the organizational structure of branches, affiliated units and developing members; stepping up promotion activities, advertising, building the image, promoting the role of the Association of Women's Union; doing a good job of representing and protecting the legitimate interests of members; training human resources; promoting social work and charity.

Speaking at the conference, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Pham Nguyen Hong congratulated the results of the provincial Tourism Association in 2024. He suggested that the provincial Tourism Association should make more efforts in organizing tourism promotion activities. Along with that, pay attention to orienting member businesses to develop new, quality tourism products; improve the quality of tourism services in each product. Encourage localities with tourism development potential to build new tourism models, suitable to the characteristics of the destination. Research and establish more branches and specialized committees under the Tourism Association to effectively implement the goals and tasks in the new development stage. In particular, it is necessary to promote the spirit of solidarity in the Provincial Tourism Association Executive Committee to develop effective programs and action plans.

On this occasion, Vietnam Tourism Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 groups and 3 individuals; Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded Certificates of Merit to 35 groups; Provincial Tourism Association awarded 10 groups and 11 individuals with outstanding achievements in 2024; awarded certificates to 20 new members.
