A host of new features coming to the Galaxy S24 series are powered by artificial intelligence, including “Live-translation” of calls, AI-enhanced night-time camera, and the Note App.
Upgraded screen
According to leaker Ice Universe, the touch response on the Galaxy S24 series' displays will be improved by "more than 10%." While that's not a huge increase, it should make the display smoother and more responsive, which is especially handy for mobile gamers.

Circle to search
“Circle to Search” is an AI feature provided by Google, described to search for any circled, highlighted image, video or text without taking a screenshot.
Although the information does not provide details, this seems to be a new form of Google Lens, with support for the S Pen stylus. In addition, the built-in assistant Bard AI may also appear on the Galaxy S24 series.
Previously, Android Headlines reported that the Galaxy S24 series will receive up to 7 years of software support (updates), compared to the current policy of 4 years of major Android updates and 5 years of security patches for high-end products. Google is also applying a 7-year support policy for the Pixel 8.
Meanwhile, there is information that the Galaxy AI feature will be "free" until 2025, meaning Samsung may charge for some features in the future.
Samsung is expected to officially release the Galaxy S24 in the early morning of January 18 (Vietnam time) and has opened pre-orders with an exclusive $50 gift voucher.
