Take the children home for Tet
On December 23, my friend brought her whole family back to her hometown in Thanh Hoa to celebrate Tet with her grandparents.
She shared that taking her daughter (in 5th grade) and son (in 2nd grade) back to their hometown to celebrate Tet with their grandparents and relatives is a way for them to rest and "relax" after finishing the first semester. This is also a way for them to learn about their roots, their homeland, and the customs and practices of celebrating Tet in different regions.
When I asked, the two children were more excited to follow their parents back to their hometown to celebrate Tet than to stay in Ho Chi Minh City. The little girl said she really liked going back to her hometown to celebrate Tet with her grandparents because she could feel the Tet atmosphere more than in the city. Back in her hometown, she liked to go here and there, following her parents to neighbors and relatives to wish them a happy new year. She liked to receive greetings and lucky money from people. She especially liked the flowers, green trees, and lush fruit gardens in her grandparents' garden that were hard to find in the city.

Tet is a "big festival"
Tet Giap Thin 2024 is a long holiday, so parents should let their children have a proper Tet holiday.
If there are conditions and time, parents can take their children back to their hometown to celebrate Tet. It can be said that there is no child who is not eager and does not like to return to their hometown because their hometown is their origin.
Maintaining many good customs and practices helps children feel the spiritual value of Tet.
Celebrating Tet in the countryside has many special meanings, so that children can feel the atmosphere, customs, and practices of celebrating Tet as well as the warmth of family affection when they are together. Children also laugh and talk more during the family meal on Tet holiday.
Let's "temporarily put aside" the issue of studying, exams, or achievements. Let's "temporarily put aside" the issue of assigning homework for students to do during the Lunar New Year holidays. Let's stop the threats from parents and relatives because they are afraid that children will be too playful and lazy to study during the three days of Tet.
Finally, let your children have a truly comfortable, fun and meaningful Tet holiday 2024 because Tet is a "big festival" for children.
