During this period, more than 100 yellow bell flowers were planted along the railway corridor. It is expected that by May 19, the unit will continue to plant the second batch of trees towards completing 1km of flower road through the area.

According to Saigon Railway Joint Stock Company, from 2023 to now, the unit has coordinated with localities in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Binh Thuan to plant more than 13km of flower roads and create landscapes at 68 level crossings.

In Dong Nai alone, the railway industry has planted trees at 50 railway crossings and corridors with a total length of about 7km.

Mr. Le Dinh Ha, Director of Saigon Railway Joint Stock Company, said that in the past, railway corridors were often littered with garbage, causing pollution. After 2 years of implementing flower planting, many areas have been covered with green, and people's awareness has also been raised.

“The goal of the ‘train road - flower road’ movement is to create beautiful, friendly landscapes along the railway, contributing to building a green - clean - beautiful environment,” said Mr. Ha.

According to Mr. Ha, the planted trees are all growing well and are regularly cared for by the unit and local authorities. Many railway lines passing through localities have formed brilliant flower roads.

This year, the company aims to plant an additional 15km of flower roads, with Dong Nai alone planning to green an additional 6-7km.
