Hundreds of young people in Da Nang are excited to experience digital transformation

TPO - Participating in the 2024 Youth Digital Transformation Festival, hundreds of young people in Da Nang have the opportunity to experience and learn about digital transformation solutions of businesses, governments and digital products of union members, youth and students in the area.

This year, the Festival has 20 booths displaying digital transformation products in the Youth Union, introducing creative products and scientific research of students in the fields of AI, IoT, semiconductor microchips... as well as start-up products and technology products of information technology enterprises in Da Nang.

In addition, the Da Nang City Youth Union and its affiliated units also introduced "digital" products in the work of the Youth Union and youth movements in recent times, such as the Da Nang Youth application, the youth project Digitalizing Red Addresses, digital document sets for specialized study sessions...

According to Mr. Le Cong Hung - Deputy Secretary in charge of the Da Nang City Youth Union, in recent times, identifying youth as the vanguard and main force, creating breakthroughs and new values ​​in national digital transformation, the City Youth Union has organized many activities such as: the March Dialogue program with the theme "Da Nang Youth pioneers in digital transformation", establishing Zalo OA channels of the Youth Union at all levels, attaching QR codes to provide information on red addresses, launching the Youth channel giving advice on digital transformation...

"The Youth Union is becoming a core, pioneering force, supporting people and the community to gradually participate in the digital transformation, contributing to the city's construction of Da Nang into a " Smart City ". In addition, the Youth Union at all levels also promotes digital transformation in activities, moving the Union's activities to a digital environment; focusing on fostering skills and information technology qualifications, especially in the field of semiconductor microchips and artificial intelligence; contributing to the development of high-quality young human resources", said Mr. Hung.

Mr. Le Son Phong - Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang City, assessed that from 2021 to now, when the digital transformation process across the city has been taking place strongly, the Youth Union has actively participated and contributed to spreading digital transformation in the community.

Currently, the Department of Information and Communications is consulting and submitting to the City People's Committee for consideration to issue a Digital Competency Framework for citizens in the area, in which the Youth Union will be an active and core factor. "Every young person must be a digital citizen, playing an important role in digitalization, creating digital data, contributing ideas, ordering digital transformation, listening to people to propose services according to the requirements of people and businesses...", Mr. Phong said.

This year, within the framework of the Youth Digital Transformation Festival, the Da Nang City Youth Union also organized the Artificial Intelligence Design Contest for a livable Da Nang with the competition of 10 ideas from young union members, students and pupils.

Ideas for applying AI technology to solve problems in various areas of life such as: healthcare, education, transportation, urban civilization...

In addition, the seminar Digital Transformation - New Opportunities - New Future with speakers who are experts and scientists also attracted the participation of many young union members.

Here, the Youth Union and students have the opportunity to have their questions answered and be oriented about career opportunities in the field of information technology, especially semiconductor microchips - one of the main development orientations of Da Nang in the coming time.
