Thai Nguyen Customs: Budget revenue equals 20.3% of the yearly plan

In 2025, Thai Nguyen Customs (Customs Sub-Department of Region V) was assigned the target of collecting VND 2,700 billion for the state budget. Thai Nguyen Customs strives to collect VND 2,900 billion.

To achieve revenue exceeding the set plan, from the beginning of the year, the leadership of Thai Nguyen Customs has synchronously deployed solutions to facilitate trade development and prevent budget losses.

In the first quarter of 2025, the total number of declarations at Thai Nguyen Customs was over 53,530 declarations (equal to 105.9% compared to the same period last year), including over 23,540 import declarations (equal to 112.1%), over 29,990 export declarations (equal to 101.5%).

Total turnover in the first quarter reached 12.8 billion USD (equal to 92.4% compared to the same period), of which import turnover was 4.88 billion USD (equal to 101.4%), export turnover was 7.92 billion USD (equal to 87.6%).

Regarding total budget revenue from import-export activities, Thai Nguyen Customs collected over 548 billion VND (equal to 20.3% of the assigned target for 2025, equal to 94.7% over the same period last year).

Import and export goods are mainly machinery, investment equipment, raw materials, materials for processing, production, export, processing, electronic products, phones, tablets, medical instruments, iron and steel, metallurgy, garments, products processed from minerals, etc.
