Ha Tinh has disbursed more than VND 2,438 billion in funding for site clearance for the North-South Eastern Expressway project in the 2021-2025 period.

To carry out site clearance (GPMB) for 3 component projects of the North-South expressway in the East phase 2021-2025, namely Bai Vot - Ham Nghi, Ham Nghi - Vung Ang and Vung Ang - Bung with a total length of 102.38 km through Ha Tinh, the Ministry of Transport has allocated a budget of VND 2,693.54 billion to the locality.
With close coordination with central ministries, branches, investors, mobilizing the entire political system to participate in site clearance and the consensus and support from households affected by the project, up to this point, Ha Tinh has disbursed 2,438.07/2,693.54 billion VND, reaching 90.52% of the plan.
In particular, at the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi section: Duc Tho district reached 91.02%, Can Loc district reached 94.95%, Ha Tinh city reached 83.13%, Thach Ha district reached 100%; Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section: Thach Ha district reached 100%, Cam Xuyen district reached 82.27%, Ky Anh district 87.11%; Vung Ang - Bung section: Ky Anh district reached 97.86%, Ky Anh town reached 100%.
Deo But road tunnel on the Vung Ang - Bung expressway section has been under construction.
Regarding the site clearance work of the North-South Expressway project, Ha Tinh has completed the inventory work; approved the compensation plan at 99.7% and handed over the site to the investor for construction at 98.33%.
Of the 26 resettlement areas and 4 cemeteries serving the relocation of households and graves affected by the project, up to now, 24 areas have completed construction, the remaining 6 areas have reached 90 - 99% of the volume.
Ha Tinh requires localities where the project passes through to continue to focus on site clearance work, especially the relocation of power line infrastructure, to soon complete the handover of clean land to the investor for construction, avoiding affecting the overall progress of key national projects.
The high volume of handed over land and abundant construction materials have contributed significantly to ensuring the progress of the construction of the 3 North-South expressway component projects through Ha Tinh; of which, the Bai Vot - Ham Nghi section has reached 22% of the plan, the Ham Nghi - Vung Ang section has reached 18% of the plan, and the Vung Ang - Bung section has reached 38% of the plan.
