Thong Nhat Park is the largest park in Hanoi with an area of over 50 hectares, located between 4 streets: Tran Nhan Tong, Le Duan, Dai Co Viet and Nguyen Dinh Chieu. The park has many entrances, the main gate is on Tran Nhan Tong street.

Previously, at the end of 2022, Hanoi City piloted the dismantling of Thong Nhat Park fence on Tran Nhan Tong Street (Hai Ba Trung District), then deployed a walking street around this area.

Based on the assessment of effectiveness and appropriate management solutions, the authorities will consider dismantling the entire fence of Thong Nhat Park and parks with similar functions in the near future.

For some parks with special characteristics such as Thu Le or Bach Thao, to ensure safety in the central area and protect animals, the city will review and consider areas that are eligible to lower fences, ensuring landscape harmony.
