Hanoi fires fireworks at 30 locations to celebrate 70 years of the capital's liberation

(Dan Tri) - On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day on October 10 this year, Hanoi organized 30 fireworks displays at 31 locations. Each district, county, and town has at least one display location.
The Hanoi People's Committee has just planned to organize fireworks displays to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024). The fireworks display will last for 15 minutes, from 9:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. on October 9. Specifically, the city will deploy 30 shooting points with 31 locations, an increase of 24 points compared to the previously issued plan. Of which, one high-altitude fireworks display site combined with low-altitude fireworks with 800 fireworks and 24 pyrotechnic platforms with 480 pyrotechnic tubes at My Dinh National Stadium combined with the F1 racetrack campus, Phu Do Ward, Nam Tu Liem District.

8 high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks display locations, each with 600 fireworks, including: - Hoan Kiem District: in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper headquarters and in front of the Hanoi Post Office). - Tay Ho District: Lac Long Quan flower garden and in front of the district People's Committee gate. - Nam Tu Liem District: F1 racetrack campus, Phu Do ward. - Hai Ba Trung District: Coconut Island, Thong Nhat Park, Le Dai Hanh Ward. - Ha Dong District: Van Quan Lake, Van Quan Ward. - Son Tay Town: Son Tay Ancient Citadel. - Thanh Tri District: Lake regulation project land, Tam Hiep Commune. - Dong Anh District: District Sports Center. 22 low-altitude fireworks display locations at: - Ba Dinh District: southeast of Ngoc Khanh Lake, Ngoc Khanh Ward. - Hoang Mai District: Den Lu Lake Park, Hoang Van Thu Ward. - Long Bien District: Park 02, Viet Hung Ward; Vinhomes Riverside Eco-Urban Area, Viet Hung Ward. - Dong Da District: Hoang Cau Lake Peninsula, O Cho Dua Ward. - Cau Giay District: Cau Giay Park, Dich Vong Ward. - Thanh Xuan District: Nhan Chinh Lake Park, Nhan Chinh Ward. - Bac Tu Liem District: Hoa Binh Park, Xuan Dinh Ward, Bac Tu Liem District. - Gia Lam District: No. 1 Thuan An, Trau Quy Town. - Me Linh District: 4-storey roof of the District People's Committee. - Ba Vi District: Quang Oai Stadium, Tay Dang Town. - Dan Phuong District: Stand B, District Stadium, Phung Town. - Thach That District: Stadium, Lien Quan Town. - Chuong My District: District Stadium, Chuc Son Town. - Thuong Tin District: District Cultural Information and Sports Center. - Quoc Oai District: 6-storey roof of the District Military Command. - Phu Xuyen District: Thao Chinh Sub-area, Phu Xuyen Town. - My Duc District: Ecological Lake Park, Dai Nghia Town. - Ung Hoa District: District Stadium, Van Dinh Town. - Soc Son district: district stadium, Soc Son town. - Phuc Tho district: district stadium, Phuc Tho town. - Thanh Oai district: green park, Kim Bai town. - Hoai Duc district: district Cultural, Information and Sports Center stadium. The fireworks display aims to arouse pride, heroic spirit, values and glorious historical significance, revolutionary fighting tradition of the Party Committee, armed forces and people of the capital in the cause of national liberation; create motivation and spirit to build a thousand-year-old civilized and heroic capital. Hanoi People's Committee requests agencies and units to closely coordinate with forces, seriously and specifically implement the plan, organize fireworks display according to the program and time specified. Relevant units carefully prepare all aspects of close command, ensure absolute safety of people and equipment before, during and after the fireworks display. Departments, branches, People's Committees of districts, towns and related units are responsible for implementing this plan to ensure safety.
