As Secretary of Phu An Commune Youth Union, Tran Thi Hue is always enthusiastic and dynamic in her work. She is especially interested in solutions to improve entrepreneurial skills for young people in rural areas. In particular, she focuses on equipping them with knowledge and skills in digital entrepreneurship, building a team of young people with innovative thinking in rural areas.

In order to help local youth start businesses effectively, Phu An Commune Youth Union regularly organizes surveys on the needs and level of understanding of digital startups of young people. Through the surveys, the Executive Committee of the Commune Youth Union understands the needs, skills and areas of interest of youth. On that basis, organize seminars and training sessions on opportunities and challenges of digital startups; knowledge of digital business, digital marketing, online payment... for youth. In the discussions and training sessions, Phu An Commune Youth Union also invites experts to advise and guide startups.

Secretary of Phu An Commune Youth Union Tran Thi Hue said that not only providing business knowledge, the discussions and training sessions also guide the application of e-commerce technology tools and platforms, digital marketing, online payments, etc. This is a new and practical factor for young people in the 4.0 era. “Most of the current youth union members are Gen Z - people who grew up with technology. Therefore, training in digital entrepreneurship skills is not only suitable, but also meets the actual needs, helping young union members take advantage of technological strengths to start businesses more effectively. At the same time, it creates confidence and boldness to register their own digital startup projects” - Tran Thi Hue shared.

Hue added that currently, technology platforms and tools to support digital startups, such as Google, Facebook, Shopee, Lazada... and e-commerce systems are popular and easy to access. Young people can use these platforms at low cost or for free to implement business ideas. From there, increasing the number of successful digital startup projects from young people contributes to promoting local socio-economic development.

Promoting the role of union cadres

Through the support of Phu An Commune Youth Union, typically the Secretary of the Commune Youth Union Tran Thi Hue, Phu An commune has 2 young people who have successfully started a business, with the model of recycling plastic bags into handbags, selling "2Hand" clothes and growing succulents. The Commune Youth Union also introduced start-up projects to participate in training courses on digital skills, website design, and digital marketing organized by the province. Thereby, helping young people grasp the knowledge and skills necessary to start a business in the digital environment. Up to now, these young people have established sales pages on Facebook, Zalo, Tiktok... Monthly income is about 30 million VND through sales on digital technology platforms.

Not only providing knowledge about digital startups, Phu An Commune Union also introduces young people to access loans from the Bank for Social Policies to expand the scale and implementation plan of startups. In addition, it encourages young people to participate in the Creative Startup Ideas Competition to orient local startup ideas. At the same time, it establishes digital startup clubs to connect young people to share experiences, establish cooperative relationships between young people and local businesses, contributing to increasing income and socio-economic development.

In addition to supporting young people to start digital businesses, Secretary of Phu An Commune Youth Union Tran Thi Hue also performed well in all aspects of the work of the Youth Union, Association, and Team. In addition, she organized many propaganda sessions on Ho Chi Minh's ideology, the tradition of the Youth Union, Association, etc. She mobilized hundreds of young people to participate in activities such as "Youth Month", "Volunteer Summer" campaign, etc. On that basis, she mobilized many young people to carry out projects such as: Installing solar lights, maintaining flagpoles, raising the voice of green electric poles, installing propaganda panels, building houses of love, planting trees, etc.

With many achievements, Tran Thi Hue has received many certificates of merit from the province; was honored to receive the Ly Tu Trong Award from the Central Youth Union in 2025.
