Realizing the importance of inspection and supervision (KTGS), right from the beginning of the year, Party committees and inspection committees (UBKT) at all levels in Duy Xuyen district proactively developed their own programs and plans to avoid overlap, duplication or omission, leaving areas and fields vacant.
Mr. Truong Cong Thanh - Chairman of the Duy Xuyen District Party Committee's Inspection Commission said that the district Party Committee has 64 grassroots party organizations (18 party committees, 46 party cells) and 185 party cells directly under the grassroots party committee with a total of 4,294 party members.

Mr. Truong Cong Thanh said that since the beginning of 2024, Party committees from district to grassroots levels have inspected 49 Party organizations and 53 Party members; supervised 50 Party organizations and 56 Party members in a thematic manner. Inspection committees at all levels have inspected 55 Party organizations and supervised 39 Party organizations and 47 Party members in a thematic manner.
Accordingly, the Party Committee and the Inspection Committee at all levels disciplined 17 violating Party members, including reprimanding 12 comrades, warning 4 comrades, and expelling 1 case. At the same time, the District Party Committee's Inspection Committee suspended 4 comrades from Party activities; received 4 petitions, including 2 denunciations and 2 petitions, and promptly resolved them in accordance with regulations.
Tighten discipline
The inspections in Duy Xuyen were carried out seriously in the spirit of no forbidden areas, no exceptions, associated with the effective implementation of anti-corruption work. Through inspections, many places have strengthened weak party organizations and enhanced solidarity and unity within the party.
However, some Party committees and Party Inspection Committees at the grassroots level have not yet thoroughly studied and mastered the regulations on inspection and supervision work. Therefore, the work of implementing, disseminating and propagating documents and organizing the implementation of tasks is still passive and confused. At the same time, the monitoring, correction and overcoming of shortcomings and violations after inspection and supervision is still limited in some places.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Manh - Standing Deputy Secretary of Duy Xuyen District Party Committee said that from now until the end of 2024, Party committees and Inspection Committees at all levels will continue to improve the quality of inspections proposed for the year.
In particular, attention should be paid to implementing three key, breakthrough tasks for the 2020-2025 period on service-tourism development, infrastructure-urban development, and human resource development.
On the other hand, proactively grasp the situation, promptly inspect party organizations and party members when there are signs of violations to prevent, stop, correct, and overcome shortcomings and violations early, from afar, from the grassroots, from the very beginning.
Mr. Manh said that localities implement the principle of focused inspection; expanded supervision, paying special attention to leaders and key officials in fields, areas, and work positions where negativity and corruption are likely to occur.
Notably, it is necessary to develop and implement working regulations and regulations on management and use of land, resources, minerals, finance, public assets, public investment and personnel organization, especially in preparation for the upcoming Party Congress.
