According to reports from 158 10th grade exam sites after candidates completed exam registration procedures this morning, 96,334 candidates registered their wishes to take the exam and 95,873 candidates declared their personal information, with 461 candidates absent.

In addition, the Department of Education and Training also informed that there were 9 cases of candidates at testing locations in Thu Duc City, Districts 3, 10, 12, Go Vap, Hoc Mon District, Binh Chanh... who had accidents or deaf candidates who needed assistance while taking the test.

Specifically, 8 candidates had accidents in recent days such as right hand injuries, calf tendon surgery, wrist fractures... requiring exam invigilators to write their exam papers and a hearing-impaired candidate needed assistance with bringing a hearing aid into the exam room.

The Department of Education and Training leader said that the department will arrange for exam supervisors to help write the exam papers for candidates taking the 10th grade exam, who will be teachers at a different level and not teaching the candidates' subjects.

Tomorrow (June 6), about 96,000 candidates will officially take the 10th grade entrance exam with the subjects of literature, foreign language, math (for candidates taking the regular 10th grade exam) and specialized and integrated subjects (if registering for the exam at a specialized school or class).

According to the leader of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, this year's 10th grade exam continues to follow the orientation of developing thinking and capacity, not rote learning. The content and requirements of the exam are closely linked to reality, suitable for the psychology of students' ages, evoking many emotions for candidates when taking the test.
