The proportion of civil servants and public employees in Dak Nong who majored in construction and architecture is very small.

Typically, the province's construction, planning and planning management sectors are currently lacking in specialized staff. According to a review by the Department of Construction, the number of civil servants and public employees in the province who have studied construction and architecture makes up a small proportion of the state administrative apparatus.

Director of the Department of Construction Phan Nhat Thanh said that all districts do not have specialized architects. The whole province currently has only 5 people with expertise in this field.

There is a serious shortage of specialized construction staff to carry out construction management and licensing work, creating inadequacies in operations.

To overcome this situation, the Department of Construction has worked with the Department of Home Affairs and districts and cities, expecting that in the near future there will be a need for specialized staff in this field. Therefore, in the process of recruiting staff, attention should be paid to the architectural profession.

In order to meet the task of implementing the Provincial Planning, recently, the Department of Construction coordinated with the Academy of Construction and Urban Management to organize training for commune and district leaders and land officials on the planning implementation process. Thereby, gradually improving the quality of human resources and effectively implementing planning in the province.

Attracting high-quality labor in the fields of agriculture and tourism in Dak Nong still faces many difficulties.

Similarly, the tourism sector - one of Dak Nong's economic spearheads - is facing difficulties in attracting quality human resources.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Thanh, Director of Nguyen Thanh Phat High-tech Agricultural Production, Trade, Service and Tourism Company Limited, said that the enterprise wishes to cooperate with local training facilities to recruit skilled workers.

Currently, the company does not have enough resources to attract skilled human resources from other provinces. Therefore, the company will work with local vocational training facilities to support workers to study for a short time, then return to sign a long-term employment contract.

According to the plan, Dak Nong is oriented to become the national bauxite - alumina - aluminum industrial center and the region's renewable energy center.

To meet these goals, Dak Nong is looking for solutions to develop human resources. The province trains and attracts high-quality human resources for key industries and fields.

However, in reality, the province's human resources have not improved much, especially high-quality human resources serving specialized fields such as planning, construction...

It can be affirmed that quality human resources are one of the important factors to implement the Dak Nong Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.

Dak Nong province's planning has emphasized the development of human resources, ensuring requirements on quantity, quality, structure of qualifications and occupations.

According to experts, to realize the plan, Dak Nong needs to thoroughly form a team of qualified human resources according to national standards, aiming towards international standards, meeting the requirements of professional tasks.

The province needs to focus on attracting and developing highly qualified human resources in priority areas such as industry, construction, architecture, planning, high-tech agriculture, digital transformation, healthcare, education, etc.

Deputy Director of Dak Nong Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Hoang Viet Nam said that to meet the labor demand for the new period, especially implementing the Provincial Planning, the unit will step up forecasting of human resource needs and fields and professions.

The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs promotes cooperation and association programs in training and developing high-quality human resources in the province and increases socialization of vocational education in both scale and quality.

Dak Nong Community College is preparing to welcome opportunities when implementing the Provincial Planning. Over the past years, the school has signed cooperation agreements with businesses inside and outside the province to carry out human resource training.

The school focuses on technical majors and key development areas of the province such as: industry, automotive technology, metal cutting, information technology, fashion, tourism, administration, etc.

However, it is also necessary to recognize that Dak Nong's internal factors cannot meet the high-quality human resources to implement the Provincial Planning.

Therefore, attracting human resources to serve the Provincial Planning is both an immediate and long-term solution. Therefore, the province needs to research and develop appropriate mechanisms and policies to attract high-quality human resources, especially in specialized and specialized fields.

Along with that, Dak Nong continues to invest in depth in human resource training, especially in key industries as outlined in the Provincial Planning.

Human resources are the key factor to ensure the success of the Provincial Planning. If this issue is not resolved, Dak Nong will face many difficulties in achieving the socio-economic development goals set for the period 2021-2030 and vision 2050.
