At the beginning of the year, singer Long Nhat shared about his favorite student - Runner-up of Golden Voice of Bolero Vietnam 2022 Duong Minh Thu.

He remembered that year the competition gathered many strong candidates but Duong Minh Thu still stood out and attracted more attention. Therefore, the singer used all his ability to protect her, helping her win the runner-up title.

"Thu has a rich and strong voice, rare for a female bolero singer. Her grace and elegance, especially in the ao dai, reminds me of the image of a graceful, gentle and profound Hue girl. I told myself: This girl must definitely win an award ," he said.

Duong Minh Thu loved bolero music and was passionate about singing since she was a child. Even though she later made a living as a Chinese interpreter, she still nurtured her love for music, often taking the opportunity to sing at night.

Having attracted attention many times with scandals, singer Long Nhat does not let his students follow his old ways.

"I don't want to destroy her image with her very Vietnamese beauty. I only advise and guide Thu to follow the cleanest and most professional singing path; besides, I don't have the right to decide anyone's reputation, success or failure. As for me, what happened in the past is just the past. I don't want to mention it again to avoid affecting my current serious and diligent work," he said.

After the Vietnam Bolero Golden Voice 2022 contest, Duong Minh Thu and teacher - singer Long Nhat worked together in music and charity activities.

They released duets such as: Road to two villages, Knock on the door, Old autumn path ... The female singer also has her own products such as: Engagement, Faded grass duet with artist Quang Teo; Love for the cross-river cat, Even though I'm poor, Remembering you in collaboration with singer Phu Qui.
