SJC gold bar price exceeds 98 million VND/tael

The company listed SJC gold bars at VND96.5 million/tael (buy) - VND98.2 million/tael (sell), an increase of VND600,000/tael (buy) and VND300,000/tael (sell) compared to the end of the previous day.

The price of gold rings also increased. Saigon Jewelry Company Limited listed the price at VND96.4 million/tael (buy) - VND98 million/tael (sell), an increase of VND600,000/tael (buy) and VND300,000/tael (sell).

96.6 million VND/tael (buy) - 98.8 million VND/tael (sell) is the price of plain round gold rings listed by Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited, compared to the previous price of 96.3 million VND/tael (buy) - 98.8 million VND/tael (sell).

Currently, the price of gold rings is 600,000 VND/tael higher than that of SJC gold bars. The buying and selling price range of SJC gold bars is 1.7 million VND/tael, and gold rings is 1.6-2.4 million VND/tael. Previously, on March 26, the price of gold increased by 300,000 VND/tael.

In the international market, at noon today, the gold price was trading at 3,018.2 USD/ounce, down 2.5 USD/ounce. Early this morning, the gold price increased by 8 USD/ounce compared to the same time the previous day, to 3,020 USD/ounce when the USD price went down.

In the foreign exchange market, the State Bank of Vietnam announced the central exchange rate of VND to USD, applied for March 26, is 1 USD = 24,851 VND, an increase of 4 VND compared to March 25.

However, BIDV set the USD price at 25,410 VND (buy) - 25,770 VND (sell), down 40 VND. Vietcombank set it at 25,420 VND (buy) - 25,780 VND (sell) instead of 25,450 VND (buy) - 25,810 VND (sell) yesterday.
