This figure is lower than the forecast of the General Department of Customs at the beginning of the month, causing pepper exports to not reach the billion USD mark.
Experts believe that domestic pepper prices will remain below VND150,000/kg due to high gold and USD prices and the upcoming new coffee harvest. However, Vietnam’s pepper export prices remain stable at high levels due to limited supply.
