Northern region

The price of live pigs today (January 12, 2025) in the Northern region recorded a flat price after yesterday (January 11) increased by 2,000 VND/kg in Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Phu Tho provinces and increased by 1,000 VND/kg in Ha Nam, Vinh Phu, Hanoi, and Tuyen Quang provinces.

Currently, the price of live pigs in the region is fluctuating between 68,000 - 70,000 VND/kg. The Northern region is home to many provinces and cities with the highest price of live pigs in the country at 70,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (January 12, 2025) in the Central Highlands region recorded no price fluctuations. Currently, the price of live pigs in the Central Highlands region fluctuates between 67,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.

Of which, Lam Dong and Thanh Hoa provinces have the highest live pig price in the region at 69,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces have live pig prices ranging from 66,000 - 67,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

The price of live pigs in the Southern region today (January 12, 2025) continues to record a flat trend in the provinces and cities. Currently, the price of live pigs in the Southern region is fluctuating between 66,000 - 69,000 VND/kg.

In particular, the price of live pigs in Kien Giang increased by one, reaching 69,000 VND/kg, the same transaction level as Dong Nai and Tay Ninh. In Can Tho, Soc Trang, Ca Mau and Ben Tre, the price of live pigs reached 68,000 VND/kg. An Giang and Bac Lieu both increased to 67,000 VND/kg.

In general, the live hog market today is flat after a day (January 11) with price fluctuations in the Northern and Central Highlands regions. Many provinces and cities set new price lists at 70,000 VND/kg. Surveys show that live hogs nationwide are being traded at around 66,000 - 70,000 VND/kg.
