Specifically, the delivery price for May 2025 is 5,437 USD/ton; the delivery price for July 2025 is 5,443 USD/ton; the delivery price for September 2025 is 5,407 USD/ton and the delivery price for November 2025 is 5,324 USD/ton.

Arabica coffee price on New York floor on March 27, 2025

Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor in the early morning of March 27 fluctuated sharply compared to yesterday's trading session, decreasing from 5.10 - 6.55 cents/lb, fluctuating from 370.00 - 405.40 cents/lb. Specifically, the delivery period in May 2025 is 392.00 cents/lb; the delivery period in July 2025 is 386.15 cents/lb; the delivery period in September 2025 is 380.50 cents/lb and the delivery period in December 2025 is 372.30 cents/lb.

Arabica coffee traded on the ICE Futures US (New York exchange) opens at 16:15 and closes at 01:30 (next day) Vietnam time. For Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil exchange, it will open from 19:00 - 02:35 (next day) Vietnam time.

According to information from Giacaphe.com, updated at 4:30 a.m. today, March 27, 2025, coffee prices in the Central Highlands provinces suddenly increased again, an increase of 1,700 - 1,800 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Currently, the average purchase price is at 135,400 VND/kg.

Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is 135,500 VND/kg, coffee price in Lam Dong is 134,500 VND/kg, coffee price in Gia Lai is 135,500 VND/kg and coffee price in Dak Nong today is 135,500 VND/kg.

The domestic coffee prices that Giacaphe.com lists every day are calculated based on the prices of two world coffee exchanges combined with continuous surveys from businesses and purchasing agents in key coffee growing areas across the country.

According to experts, domestic coffee prices are witnessing a record increase, surpassing the highest price levels in history. The main reason is believed to be the scarcity of supply in the global market, especially Robusta coffee, along with concerns about dry weather affecting coffee production in major producing countries such as Vietnam and Brazil.

This has pushed domestic coffee prices to unprecedented highs, benefiting farmers but also creating challenges for processing and exporting businesses.

Speculators are expected to return to the coffee market soon to buy contracts, after recently reducing their net long positions, Reuters reported.

In other developments, major markets such as the US, Europe and the Middle East continue to increase coffee imports, especially Robusta, to serve the food and beverage industry. Currently, the increase on both the London and New York exchanges is a positive supporting factor for domestic coffee prices in the medium and long term.

In addition, the government and localities are stepping up support for farmers to produce sustainable coffee, improve quality and added value.

However, according to experts, coffee prices are also being affected by a slight increase in domestic supply. Domestic coffee production is increasing slightly after growing regions entered the final stages of the season. World coffee prices may be under pressure to adjust if supply from Brazil increases again.
