Nearly 8.4 billion VND to preserve, restore and renovate the Cham tower relic Bang An

The investor of the project to preserve, restore, restore and promote the value of the Cham tower relic Bang An is the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Nam with a total investment of nearly 8.4 billion VND from the provincial budget.

This project will renovate and reinforce the monument and carry out auxiliary works to serve the monument restoration activities. The project implementation period is from 2023 to 2025.

The project's objective is to invest in the conservation and restoration of Bang An Cham Tower to restore and stabilize the structure of the relic in the long term; contributing to the conservation and promotion of the value of the relic.

Bang An Cham Tower is a remaining Cham cultural relic located in Dien An ward, Dien Ban town; located on provincial road DT609, about 14km north of Hoi An ancient town, about 30km south of Da Nang city.

Bang An Cham Tower was built around the 12th century and is considered a large brick sculpture in the history of Champa sculpture and a valuable relic of the history and religious beliefs of the Cham people. Bang An Cham Tower relic was ranked as a national relic in 1989.
