After a period of hard work studying both professional skills and Japanese language and integration skills, nearly 400 new engineers and bachelors of the Vietnam - Japan program at the Vietnam - Japan Institute of Technology (VJIT) of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Hutech) received their graduation certificates.
Currently, Japan is investing more and more in Vietnam. Human resources with professional working style and ability to adapt to the most demanding environment in the world have become the top concern of every business.
This is also the reason why Hutech's Vietnam - Japan program with consulting and method transfer from Kanazawa University of Technology (KIT - Japan) attracts the attention of many young people who want to work and develop themselves in the Japanese business environment.
In his congratulatory speech, Mr. Ono Masuo - Consul General of Japan in Ho Chi Minh City - expressed his hope that although they will take different paths, the knowledge and skills accumulated during their studies at VJIT will be an important foundation for the new graduates to build a solid career.
“In particular, as the relationship between Vietnam and Japan continues to develop, I believe that you will become a bridge between the two countries, contributing to the bright future of the two nations. I wish you to make the best use of your abilities and achieve even more success,” Mr. Ono Masuo emphasized.
At the event, Hutech also announced the decision to award an honorary doctorate to Mr. Fujishima Yasuyuki - Co-founder and Senior Advisor of VJIT, who has laid a solid foundation for educational cooperation between Hutech and Japanese partner organizations. The decision to award an honorary doctorate shows the school's deep gratitude for his valuable contributions.
It is known that nearly 400 new bachelors and engineers receiving their degrees from the Vietnam - Japan program this time are in many fields with high demand for human resources in Japanese enterprises, including Economics - Management, Technology - Engineering, Marketing - Communication.
Built in a modern direction, the Vietnam - Japan program ensures both specialized knowledge and professional skills, applying methods of KIT and leading Japanese universities.
Students study according to the CDIO method (Imagine - Design - Implement - Operate), focusing on Design Thinking in subjects similar to KIT students to develop the ability to detect and solve practical problems - a special ability highly appreciated in Japanese enterprises. At the same time, students are also trained in Japanese equivalent to N3 with a team of highly qualified lecturers, ensuring that students can study effectively in corporate culture training courses, modules with KIT students, workshops with professional employers.
Not only enjoying the modern study program, VJIT students also participate in a variety of extracurricular activities such as cultural festivals; exchange sessions with students, leaders of business associations, leaders of provinces, economic organizations of Japan; workshops, seminars.
The 3-6 month Internship in Japanese companies or Japanese companies in Vietnam is also a highlight of the program, giving students the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop professional skills directly with Japanese experts.
Nguyen Thi Quyen - a new graduate who graduated with excellent results ahead of schedule, valedictorian of the Vietnam - Japan program in Business Administration shared: "I am proud to affirm that if it were not VJIT Hutech, it would not have been anywhere else. Today, looking back at the long journey we have gone through, we can confidently say that we are "Solid in expertise - good in Japanese" and ready to work in a Japanese business environment."
Quyen also sent the message to the students that each new graduate today has a journey of effort, has their own values and will certainly shine in their own way, with maturity, confidence and the foundations that have been built.
