While it was initially rumored that Samsung would opt for both Exynos and Snapdragon chips (similar to the Galaxy S24 Series) for the Samsung Galaxy S25, a recent report confirms that the company will only use Snapdragon chips for devices worldwide.

Specifically: a source from Hankyung (Korea) said that the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor for Galaxy globally. Although, not long ago, the company announced to use the Exynos 2500 chip for the S25 and S25+, the latest report said that they have changed their decision.

It is known that Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is expected to bring significant improvements (about 30-35%) in AI and CPU and GPU performance. The performance of this chip is said to be superior to the A17 Pro chip of iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Previously, it was reported that the S25 is moving to a larger 6.36-inch display (a big jump from the Galaxy S24's 6.2-inch display). Samsung may be aiming for faster charging speeds, especially on the smallest S25 (the S24+ and S24 Ultra support 45W charging, while the S24 only supports 25W).

All of Samsung's Galaxy S25 models are said to run Google's second-generation Gemini Nano, and it could be integrated with Galaxy AI for more efficiency.
