According to expert Ice Universe - who specializes in providing reliable information, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be thinner and lighter than both the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL and the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The Pixel 9 Pro XL is known to be 8.5mm thick and weighs 221g. Thus, users can expect the upcoming Galaxy flagship to be around 8.4mm thick and weigh less than 220g. Compared to its predecessor, the S25 Ultra will feel lighter and more comfortable to hold.
Recently, leaker Digital Chat Station has just posted a render image of the Samsung S25 Ultra. Accordingly, the device has a completely flat design - this is a major change in design when the upcoming Galaxy flagship can look similar to recent Meizu devices with flat edges and slightly more rounded corners than the S24 Ultra.
It has been revealed that the S25 Ultra will use a quad-camera system on the back. The cameras include a 200MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom. Both telephoto cameras will have PDAF and OIS. The phone is also said to use a new version of the 1/2.76-inch JN1 sensor for the ultra-wide camera, with a resolution of 50MP.
It is known that the product may launch exclusively with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. However, there are sources saying that Samsung may launch two versions, one using Exynos 2500.
In addition, Samsung will also keep the battery capacity of the Galaxy S model at 5,000 mAh for the S25 Ultra and support 45W wired fast charging technology.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to come pre-installed with OneUI 7 user interface based on Android 15 operating system upon launch.
