With a height of up to 1.92 m and a long arm span, especially the ability to enter and catch high balls well, Filip Nguyen has a big advantage when he plays for the Vietnam team.
This is exactly what Mr. Troussier expects, as the new style of play of the Vietnamese team really needs a goalkeeper who is tall and good at catching high balls and has the same confidence and skill in controlling the ball as a midfielder. This will help the Vietnamese team confidently deploy the ball and find ways to escape the opponent's pressing, thereby launching quick attacks from the defense.
