According to observations, the route through Long Son ward, Thai Hoa town, although designed to be spacious and connected to urban areas and bustling business areas, many sections of more than 400 meters are currently seriously degraded. The road surface is peeling, with many large potholes, posing a danger to road users.

Mr. Tran Van Tam, a local resident, shared: “There have been many cases where motorcyclists, while driving too fast, did not notice in time and fell into potholes and buffalo holes. We hope that the authorities will soon repair this road.”

This is a route belonging to the main axis road project in the new urban area of ​​Thai Hoa, invested by the People's Committee of Thai Hoa town, started in October 2009. Initially, the project was 2.05 km long, but was later reduced to 1.95 km due to overlapping with the road at the beginning of Hieu 2 bridge. The total construction cost is nearly 300 billion VND, mobilized from the central budget, the People's Committee of Nghe An province and Thai Hoa town.

In 2021, this route was repaired and upgraded for more than 500 m in severely damaged sections. However, after only 3 years, the deterioration continued to recur. Faced with this situation, people hope that the authorities will quickly fix the road damage to ensure traffic safety.
