Ha Tinh tourism exceeds 2023 target

By welcoming over 2.9 million visitors in the first 3 quarters of the year, Ha Tinh tourism industry has exceeded the target set for 2023 by more than 400,000 visitors.

With careful preparation through organizing many festivals from the beginning of the year, the tourism industry has promoted and attracted a large number of tourists.

According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh, by the end of September 2023, tourist areas and spots across the province had welcomed 2,901,797 visitors (2.2 times higher than the same period in 2022 and reaching 116% of the plan for the whole year 2023). Of which, the number of overnight guests reached 751,104, reaching 150% of the plan for the whole year; international visitors reached 11,254.

More than 20,000 visitors attended the opening ceremony of the 2023 sea tourism at Xuan Thanh Tourist Area (Nghi Xuan) on April 22.

In the first 9 months of 2023, tourism activities in the whole province were stable, businesses were conscious of maintaining environmental hygiene, selling at the listed prices. At the same time, actively building the image of Ha Tinh people, creating a good impression on tourists from near and far.

Compared to the target set by the province at the beginning of the year to welcome 2.5 million visitors, the tourism industry has so far completed and exceeded the set plan. This result is thanks to the drastic participation of all levels, sectors, localities and each citizen in tourism development. In particular, the promotion of destinations, the infrastructure system of tourist areas and spots is increasingly focused on investment and upgrading, the efforts of businesses in attracting tourists... are the reasons that help the tourism industry have strong development steps.

In the coming time, besides continuing to stimulate demand to attract tourists, we will develop many promotion programs, advertising, training human resources... to serve tourists better and better.
