Dong Giang urgently completes capital allocation for national target programs

According to the People's Committee of Dong Giang district, the disbursement of capital for national target programs in 2024 (including the extended years of 2022 and 2023) is nearly 239.5/358 billion VND, reaching 66.8% of the allocated capital; of which development investment capital reaches 60.3%, and public service capital reaches 74.2%.

For 2025, the locality has allocated more than 80/82.5 billion VND, reaching nearly 97% of the assigned capital plan. Including: development investment capital allocated nearly 75.9 billion VND, reaching 98.3% of the plan; career capital allocated more than 4.1 billion VND, reaching 77.6% of the plan. As of March 24, Dong Giang has disbursed 7.2 billion VND, reaching nearly 4.9% of the allocated capital plan.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan assessed that the approval, capital allocation, implementation and disbursement of projects and works under national target programs of Dong Giang district were quite slow and ineffective.

Therefore, Dong Giang is required to review all data on capital allocation, disbursed capital of each project, sub-project, detailed breakdown of each national target program... due to discrepancies and inaccuracies and report back to the Provincial People's Committee on March 31.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan requested the district to review the feasibility of each project to adjust and transfer appropriate capital sources. Urgently open investment project codes for projects with funding sources from investment capital; quickly select contractors and implement construction... The allocation of capital sources must be completed in March 2025.

For the group of projects with capital allocated from previous years, 100% must be disbursed in April 2025, so the District People's Committee must urge construction and handle responsible people if they cannot do so.

For the 2025 plan, it is necessary to quickly complete project documents; direct investors to stick to projects and works to immediately resolve problems; flexibly arrange counterpart funds. Finalize accounts for completed works put into use in accordance with legal regulations.

Regarding the demolition of temporary houses, there are 961 houses that have not been completed yet. There must be a detailed roadmap and plan on the start time, construction method, and completion time for each household to meet the set schedule.
