Businesses await results of best technology environment award

17 nominated companies highly appreciated the significance of the program, waiting for the honor results to be announced on the afternoon of September 22, within the framework of AI4VN.

"Company with the best technology environment" is the first honor program held at CTO Summit. This year's event takes place within the framework of Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Festival - AI4VN 2023, at Riverside Palace, 360D Ben Van Don, District 4, Ho Chi Minh City.

After the registration round, from 50 submitted profiles, the organizing committee selected 17 nominations that met the program's criteria. The results were announced on the afternoon of September 22, after the CTO Summit's discussion sessions. The companies nominated for the honor round come from fields such as banking, insurance, technology, food, consumer goods, electronics... with the common point of applying technology in management and operation of the unit. The scale of the business ranges from start-ups, small and medium-sized (under 1,000 employees) to large corporations (5,000 employees).

Assessing the significance of the program, a representative of Aqua Vietnam said that the honor will encourage competition between companies. This will motivate businesses to constantly innovate and improve the technological working environment, creating value for the business itself as well as employees and the community.

More broadly, the program evaluates and honors companies that use advanced technology in their daily work. This criterion requires each company to promote the development of technology and create important improvements. Participating companies must also focus on attracting and retaining talent. Being nominated and honored helps each brand strengthen its reputation and position in the market. This is a platform to attract attention from investors, potential partners as well as high-quality personnel.

The recognition event also provides an opportunity for companies to share their knowledge and experience on how they have built their technology environments. This can spread, positively impact the community, and build a stronger industrial ecosystem.

Aqua Vietnam participated in the honor in the group of large enterprises (over 1,000 people), electronics business sector.

In the large-scale group (3,000-5,000), there is Heineken Vietnam with 30 years of experience in the beverage industry. The company representative said that the unit focuses seriously on equipping appropriate digital transformation skills for each employee position. The company regularly organizes sharing sessions on new technology and electronics trends such as AI, cloud computing, and metaverse to always be ready to use technology and improve work quality.

Being nominated in the program, the unit is proud and confident that the technological innovation roadmap is on the right track. According to the representative of Heineken Vietnam, the program provides practical solutions for the business community to improve digital transformation, bring revenue and profit, and contribute positively to the domestic economy. Honoring the best technology environment also encourages businesses to bring better products to users. This is also a measure for the community to recognize pioneering and trustworthy businesses in the market. In the group of enterprises with over 1,000 employees, the insurance industry has FWD - a group operating across Asia with over 10 million customers in 10 markets. This year, the unit marks its 10-year milestone of operation with a charter capital of VND19,102 billion and over 18,000 employees.

Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Day has the theme "Power for Life". The program has many activities such as: AI workshop; AI Summit; CTO Summit 2023; AI Expo and AI Show. The festival is directed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, organized by VnExpress newspaper in coordination with the Club of Information and Communication Technology Faculties - Institutes - Schools (FISU).

The event attracted many famous speakers to share their perspectives on research, development and application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in practice as well as ways to utilize this technology to increase productivity, product quality, and enhance competitiveness in the market.
