On August 28, the first guests in the Indian billionaire's group of 4,500 arrived in Ninh Binh to begin their journey to visit Trang An Eco-tourism Area.
Upon arriving in Ninh Binh at around 10:30 a.m., more than 800 guests of the Indian delegation received a warm and attentive welcome from the Department of Tourism and representatives of Trang An Eco-tourism Area.
Speaking at the reception, the leader of the Department of Tourism emphasized that in 2014, Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex was recognized as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage. This is one of 31 mixed heritages in the world, the 11th mixed heritage in the Asia-Pacific region, and the first mixed heritage of Vietnam and Southeast Asia with outstanding global values.
The fact that the Indian delegation chose Trang An to visit and experience shows the affection and love of international friends for Ninh Binh. At the same time, this is also a great opportunity for the province to continue affirming the value of its tourism brand, promoting the image of the people and the beauty of the ancient capital.
At the reception, the Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism presented flowers and conical hats painted with landscapes of Trang An to the heads of delegations. At the same time, he expressed his thanks and wished the delegation an interesting and memorable experience in Ninh Binh.
For convenience in sightseeing and traveling, the group of tourists was divided into small groups to explore Trang An Eco-tourism Area. The group visited 2 routes including route 2 and route 4.
With this boat tour, visitors will explore the underwater caves on environmentally friendly rowing boats. In addition to enjoying the natural scenery, the group will admire the sacred temple relics, learn about the history, culture of the land and people of Ninh Binh.
Many days before, the provincial tourism industry and related units had developed a specific and thoughtful plan for support and reception. The group of guests were assigned lanes, priority berths and boats, and separate ticket control personnel.
After finishing the tour at Trang An Eco-tourism Area, the group will have lunch at Trang An 5 Restaurant, Ninh Binh City. The Indian billionaire's group ordered 6 main dishes for lunch on August 28. The dishes are "Indian vegan" and buffet style, the chef and 90% of the ingredients are brought from India.
It is expected that 6 more groups will continue to visit Ninh Binh from August 29 to September 5.
