
This is a gratitude activity, demonstrating the nation's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", "Repaying gratitude", towards the 55th anniversary of Truong Bon Victory, 55 years of the sacrifice of 13 heroic martyrs of Company 317.
Attending the flower and incense offering ceremony were members of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association: Truong Duc Minh Tu - Editor-in-Chief of Quang Tri Newspaper, Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Journalists Association and Doan Minh Long - Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Journalists Association. Also attending was comrade Ho Thi Ngan - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association.

During the resistance war against American imperialism, National Highway 15A - where Truong Bon is located, was a particularly important strategic location, connecting important North-South traffic arteries.
Truong Bon became the fire coordinate in the escalating bombing campaigns of the US imperialists in the North of our country to cut off the traffic artery for transporting human resources and materials to support the battlefield in the South.

From 1964 to 1968, the US Air Force dropped nearly 19,000 bombs of all kinds and tens of thousands of missiles on Truong Bon, destroying 211 villages along the route in an attempt to destroy Truong Bon and destroy the important traffic artery.
Here, 1,240 officers and soldiers fought bravely and sacrificed heroically; including the heroic sacrifice of 13 youth volunteers of the "Steel Squad", "Suicide Squad", "Living Marker Squad", belonging to the 317th Youth Volunteer Company, Team 65, General Youth Volunteer Team against America to save the country, Nghe An province.

Truong Bon is a sacred land, a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism, where the blood of comrades and compatriots was shed in the long march to liberate the nation; a National Historical Relic.

Offering flowers and incense at the mass graves of 13 heroic martyrs, delegates of the Journalists Association of 19 provinces in the Central and Central Highlands regions expressed their respect, admiration and deep gratitude to the outstanding children who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people. The delegation pledged to continue the revolutionary source to strive for creativity and innovation in their work, contributing to promoting the development of each locality and the country.

Offering flowers and incense to commemorate the souls of 1,240 heroic martyrs on the legendary Truong Bon road, the delegation of the Journalists Association of 19 provinces in the Central and Central Highlands regions respectfully and deeply expressed their gratitude for the heroic sacrifices of the martyrs for the country's peace and development as it is today; praying for the souls of the heroic martyrs to rest in peace and eternal peace, forever living with the nation; blessing the country with prosperity and the people with happiness.
Delegates of the Journalists Association of 19 provinces in the Central and Central Highlands regions also visited Chung Son Temple in Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District to offer flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and his ancestors.
