The conference assessed the implementation of growth scenarios of each locality in 2025. Soc Trang province alone has achieved some outstanding results in production, business, import and export in the first 3 months of 2025. Specifically: agricultural production continued to be stable, the whole province harvested 150,760 hectares of rice, with an output of over 1 million tons; continued to maintain and develop livestock: total livestock increased by 1.6% over the same period, total poultry increased by 0.7%; total aquatic product output was 38,627 tons, up 4.6% over the same period. In addition, the industrial production index increased by 5% over the same period; total retail sales of goods and social consumer service revenue reached 30,820 billion VND, up 27.5%; Export value reached 380 million USD, down 1.3% over the same period (mainly due to a sharp decrease in rice export turnover); passenger transport output increased by 13.5% over the same period; freight transport increased by 10.3%.

Regarding public investment capital, from the beginning of the year, the Provincial People's Committee directed to continue to seriously and drastically implement solutions to promote the progress of public investment capital disbursement; as of March 15, 2025, the capital plan for 2025 assigned by the Prime Minister has disbursed 5.29% of the plan. The total capital to implement the 3 National Target Programs in 2025 is over 383 billion VND, as of February 28, 2025, the disbursement rate has reached 9.23%.

At the conference, representatives of central ministries and branches exchanged, responded, and provided guidance to fundamentally resolve difficulties and problems of the three provinces.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Thanh Dam - Director of the Department of Planning and Finance, Ministry of Education and Training highly appreciated the localities in implementing growth scenarios and continuing to direct the implementation of removing difficulties and obstacles for people and businesses, focusing on implementing mechanisms approved by the Central Government; ensuring the progress of disbursement of public investment capital of projects according to plan; reviewing and promptly implementing to effectively use capital of national target programs; effectively organizing planning and plans to ensure close connection between infrastructure, exploiting new development corridors to focus on the growth target of 3 provinces in 2025...
