Nam N'Dir Secondary School was established in 2002 and is located in Nam Ha village, Nam N'Dir commune, Krong No district, Dak Nong province. In the early years of its establishment, the school faced many difficulties because the economic conditions of the people at that time were still difficult. However, with the determination to follow Uncle Ho's teaching "For the benefit of ten years, we must plant trees, for the benefit of a hundred years, we must cultivate people", the staff and teachers of the school have performed their noble mission well and achieved many great achievements.
Currently, the school has a total of 40 teachers. Of these, 97% are university graduates and postgraduates, with skills in applying new technology in teaching.
With the close professional attention of the Department of Education and Training of Krong No district, the attention of local authorities and leaders at all levels, the school has continuously achieved high results in teaching and learning, contributing to training many generations of excellent students for the locality.
Typically, in the 2023-2024 school year, the percentage of students with good and excellent academic performance at Nam N'Dir Secondary School accounted for nearly 50%; students with good and good conduct reached 100%; the percentage of students graduating from secondary school reached nearly 100%. In the 2023-2024 school year, the whole school had more than 100 students participating in national, provincial and district level competitions. The outstanding results were that in the provincial 9th grade cultural competition, 1 student won first prize, 2 students won third prize and 1 student won consolation prize; in the national competition, 1 student won bronze prize and 3 students won consolation prize; 4 products of the school's students won prizes in the Dak Nong Global Geopark research competition along with many other proud achievements.
Mr. Than Viet Vinh, Principal of the school, said that in the 2024-2025 school year, the whole school has 748 students in 18 classes, of which 60% are ethnic minority students. Despite many difficulties, in recent years, the Board of Directors of Nam N'Dir Secondary School has built a school development strategy for the period 2020-2025 with the task of focusing on solutions to maintain the number of students in the school, foster excellent students, improve the learning quality of weak students, maintain and improve the quality of education. Thanks to that, by 2022, Nam N'Dir Secondary School was recognized as meeting national standards.
Teacher Han Duy Thuy, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Krong No district, said that determining education as one of the important factors in developing resources for socio-economic development, in recent years, Krong No district has always allocated resources and funds for education.
Accordingly, every year, Nam N'Dir Secondary School receives investment from all levels and sectors of Krong No district to repair and build new classrooms and functional rooms, and auxiliary works. Thanks to that, the school now has a system of solid rooms and classrooms, a system of green trees, a green, clean, beautiful school yard, a system of fences, and a spacious school gate.
Nam N'Dir Secondary School has become one of the leading units in terms of educational quality in the district in particular and the province in general. Along with that, the quality of key education is affirmed by the annual excellent student awards in national, provincial and district level competitions.
With the above outstanding achievements, the collective and many individuals of Nam N'Dir Secondary School have continuously received noble titles and awards from sectors and levels from the Central to the provincial and district levels.
