The minimum score is the minimum score that candidates need to achieve to apply for admission to universities. The admission score can be equal to or higher than this level.
Last year, the benchmark for assessing the capacity of Ho Chi Minh City National University was about 600-1,035/1,200 points. For the exam of Hanoi National University, the benchmark for schools is usually from 80/120 points or higher. If using the thinking assessment score of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, candidates who score 50-55/100 points or higher can be admitted to many majors, especially for hot majors such as Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, the benchmark is up to 72-83 points.
The Ministry of Education and Training said that even if admitted by early methods (using test scores to assess capacity, considering transcripts, IELTS...), candidates must still register their wishes on the common system, from July 18 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30. The results of the 2024 university admissions will be announced before 5:00 p.m. on August 19.
