The rapid increase in the number of tourists and the increasingly favorable business environment have created favorable conditions for travel businesses in Ninh Binh to develop. However, to "go further", travel businesses need to promote cooperation and association activities for mutual development.
"If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together" - this saying is increasingly true for tourism service businesses in general and travel agencies in particular. Mr. Hoang Binh Minh, Head of the Ninh Binh Travel Association under the Provincial Tourism Association, commented: "Tourism is a special economic sector, with high inter-sectoral, inter-regional and socialized characteristics. In fact, no travel agency can develop sustainably if it only cares about its own interests."
This assessment is completely grounded when currently, in the context of fierce competition between countries, regions, and even between localities, strengthening connections, support, and cooperation for mutual development is an inevitable trend. This is not only a direction to help travel businesses in the province become stronger and more united, but also creates motivation to promote, introduce, and develop tourism products.
In recent years, the number and quality of travel agencies in the province have increased rapidly, meeting the needs of both domestic and international visitors. Currently, the province has nearly 20 travel agencies, including 2 international travel agencies. The main activities carried out by most travel agencies are building and promoting products; designing tours; training tour guides; participating in survey programs, building products, tours, and tourist routes...
Recently, the Department of Tourism and the Provincial Tourism Association have organized many programs to survey, evaluate and develop tourism products (famtrips). Thereby, creating favorable conditions for travel businesses inside and outside the province to grasp information about destinations and service quality, aiming to build tours and routes suitable to the needs of tourists. Most recently, the survey program at a number of resorts and high-class restaurants was organized by the Tourism Association with the participation of more than 20 typical travel businesses, hotels and restaurants in the province.
Mr. Hoang Minh Thanh, representative of Hoang Son Travel Center said: Through the survey, the unit has the opportunity to learn and experience the actual facilities and services of the tourist area. From there, it is easy to choose and arrange tours to suit the needs of tourists. The famtrip activity also helps travel businesses in the province have the opportunity to meet, exchange and discuss their strengths and advantages. From there, find opportunities to cooperate and effectively support each other.
Recently, Lala Travel Company has launched the "Back to the Countryside" experiential tour. With this tour, visitors will be able to participate in camping, cycling, cooking, experiencing country life... This is a form of tourism that is loved by many visitors when coming to Ninh Binh.
Ms. Dinh Phuong Linh, representative of Lala Travel Company, said: "If Lala Travel were alone, we would not be able to provide the best quality services. Through survey and research activities, we can find opportunities to cooperate with tourist areas, destinations, food service providers and travel agencies so that we can reach more customers and serve them better." Each travel agency is in an overall relationship with other tourism service businesses in the market. Organizing survey and research groups helps units strengthen solidarity and seek opportunities, and sell products more easily and effectively.
Mr. Ha Huy Loi, representative of the Management Board of Thien Ha Cave Tourist Area, said: The tourist area is ready to provide maximum support to travel agencies in the province when bringing tourists to visit and experience here. At the same time, there will be the most preferential prices, even without profit as long as it provides the best support for travel businesses in the province, especially young businesses with conditions to develop. "Having many years of experience in the tourism service business, I hope that travel businesses can create a healthy competitive business environment, ready to help and support each other. That is the way to develop sustainably and effectively in the current context" - Mr. Loi shared more.
Travel agencies are one of the "channels" that play an important role in promoting and introducing destinations and tourism services to tourists inside and outside the province. At the same time, they play a key role in connecting tours and routes, contributing to creating attractive tourism products and promoting tourism development in each locality. Therefore, it is necessary to have a mechanism to encourage and facilitate travel agencies to participate in surveys, connect tours and routes, and create a chain of unique and diverse tourism products to meet the needs of tourists. Travel agencies also need to take advantage of opportunities and grasp market trends to build and develop products, connect appropriate tours and routes.
