Saigontourist Group expands tourism and aviation cooperation in Indonesia and Singapore

On the occasion of General Secretary To Lam and his wife and a high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese State's official visit to Indonesia and Singapore from March 9 to 13, Saigon Tourist Group and Vietnam Airlines signed important cooperation agreements on tourism and aviation development with partners in Indonesia and Singapore.

Promoting tourism between Vietnam and Indonesia and Singapore markets

The events marked a new step forward in cooperation in the tourism and aviation sectors, bringing high value to the partners, contributing to the development of tourism in Vietnam and ASEAN.

The ceremony to hand over the cooperation memorandums was honored to welcome the presence of General Secretary To Lam, senior officials of Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, representatives of tourism and aviation corporations in Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam, and international media agencies.

Mr. Pham Huy Binh - Chairman of Saigontourist Group - said that these cooperation agreements are important in promoting bilateral tourism development between Vietnam and Indonesia, Vietnam and Singapore, especially in the context of Vietnam and Indonesia, and Vietnam and Singapore having just signed an upgrade to Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

"We believe that with the close cooperation between Saigontourist Group, Vietnam Airlines and partners, Vietnam tourism and aviation will increasingly attract more tourists from Indonesia and Singapore, and Vietnamese tourists will also have more opportunities to experience and explore the beauty of these two countries," Mr. Pham Huy Binh emphasized.

The Vietnam - Indonesia bilateral tourism development cooperation program was marked by the signing ceremony of a memorandum of cooperation between Saigontourist Travel (a subsidiary of Saigontourist Group) and Indonesia's Golden Rama Express Company on March 9.

The cooperation content focuses on strengthening cooperation in the following areas: Developing package tourism products, surveying, combining tourism services, aiming to bring tourists unique and attractive tourism experiences; enhancing the promotion of Vietnamese tourism in the Indonesian market, while attracting tourists from this market to Vietnam; enhancing the exchange of tourists between Vietnam and Indonesia, contributing to promoting bilateral tourism development.

Next, at the Vietnam - Singapore Business Forum, the ceremony to hand over the cooperation memorandum between Vietnam Airlines, Saigontourist Group and Singapore's APG Tourism Group was solemnly held on March 13, 2025.

Expanding air connectivity, developing Southeast Asian tourist market

Mr. Dang Ngoc Hoa, Chairman of Vietnam Airlines, commented: "The signing of the cooperation agreement between the parties is a testament to Vietnam Airlines' efforts in enhancing the effective exploitation of flight routes between Vietnam and Indonesia and Singapore, contributing to promoting the development of Vietnam tourism and enhancing the position of Vietnam tourism on the world tourism map."

Currently, Indonesia, Singapore in particular and Southeast Asia in general are important international tourist markets for Vietnam tourism as well as Saigontourist Group.
