Supervise the review and approval of design documents on fire prevention and fighting

On April 10, the City People's Council's thematic supervision delegation worked with the City Police on the review of design documents on fire prevention and fighting (PCCC) in the city.

According to the City Police, identifying fire prevention and fighting design approval as one of the important tasks in state management of fire prevention and fighting, the City Police has drastically implemented many measures, issued many guiding documents; processed 2,151 files requesting fire prevention and fighting design approval, issued 783 documents agreeing to the design approval results, of which more than 99% of the files were processed ahead of schedule.

At the same time, participating in giving opinions on more than 20 projects on fire prevention and fighting regulations and standards, creating a legal corridor contributing to sustainable development. Through dialogue conferences, representatives of agencies and enterprises have changed, raised awareness, and ability to grasp the content of current fire prevention and fighting documents, regulations, and standards, contributing to ensuring compliance with legal regulations in the field of construction investment in the city...

To improve efficiency, enhance capacity and effectiveness of fire prevention and fighting design review work in the city, the City Police Department recommends that the City People's Council and the City People's Committee continue to direct relevant departments, branches, units and localities to resolutely and effectively implement directives on fire prevention and fighting design review; at the same time, promote the implementation of key tasks and solutions in Plan No. 173/KH-UBND of the City People's Committee on implementing fire prevention and fighting infrastructure planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050...

The thematic monitoring delegation highly appreciated the results achieved by the City Police in fire prevention and fighting; reviewed the design documents on fire prevention and fighting. At the same time, they acknowledged the recommendations and proposals of the City Police and said they would submit them to the City People's Council for consideration.
