"Skillful mass mobilization" in new rural construction in Dam Rong

Comrade Da Cat K'Huong - Standing Deputy Secretary of Dam Rong District Party Committee said that the district has 8 commune-level administrative units with 53 villages, a population of 58,706 people; of which, there are 38,202 ethnic minorities, accounting for 65.07%. In the process of implementing the construction of new rural areas, the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front, and political organizations of Dam Rong district always pay attention to, direct, and issue plans and action programs to implement the policies of the Central and Provincial Party Committees on mass mobilization work; focus on propaganda work, thoroughly and deeply disseminate all policies and guidelines of the Party and laws of the State to all cadres, civil servants, public employees and people, creating changes in awareness, raising the responsibility of each individual and organization in implementing the contents and programs of building new rural areas in the locality.

In particular, the Dam Rong District Party Committee has directed agencies and units to mobilize people to actively participate in campaigns, patriotic emulation movements, poverty reduction work, the "Skillful Mass Mobilization" emulation movement; the "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas" movement, building "Typical residential areas", "Model residential areas"... Up to now, the whole Dam Rong district has had 51/53 Typical residential areas, reaching a rate of 96%; of which, there are 38 Model residential areas, reaching 74% (1 residential area has been recognized as a Model residential area for 5 consecutive years), exceeding the targets set by the resolution of the 4th Dam Rong District Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.

Along with that, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dam Rong district and socio-political organizations of the district, Party committees, authorities and localities have deployed mass mobilization work contents in all localities; maintained effective implementation of the mass mobilization model "Saturday with the People participating in building the New Rural Area. At the same time, built models of Model Residential Areas, Typical Residential Areas; implemented models of lighting up rural roads in communes, propaganda models, mobilized people to push back the bad custom of dowry among ethnic minorities in Da Long commune...

On the other hand, the Steering Committee 502 of Dam Rong district also regularly pays attention to leading and directing the District Military Command and the district's socio-political organizations to develop plans and appropriate contents to implement mass mobilization campaigns on building new rural areas in the area. Thereby, the units have promptly organized and disseminated, developed programs to coordinate activities at their level and implemented them with good results in a number of tasks such as: propagating and mobilizing people to implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, mobilizing and participating with the mobile militia and reserve forces to carry out training well in combination with mass mobilization work.

In 2024 alone, the Steering Committee 502 of Dam Rong district issued a plan and successfully organized a concentrated mass mobilization campaign in 2024 in Da Long commune. Thereby, Dam Rong district mobilized total resources to support the locality with more than 4 billion VND to build practical works and tasks, directly serving the people's lives, contributing to bringing Da Long commune to meet the new rural standards by the end of 2024.

According to comrade Da Cat K'Huong, the above results were achieved thanks to the consensus of the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front, and organizations from the district to the grassroots level, actively mobilizing members, union members, and people to implement policies and guidelines on mass mobilization work in a timely manner that is in line with the people's wishes. In particular, the emulation movement "Skillful mass mobilization" associated with the construction of the new rural areas has profoundly changed the awareness and actions of cadres, party members, and people in the area. From practice, many advanced models and examples have emerged in all areas of social life.

In 2024, Dam Rong district organized 72 campaigns of "Saturday with the People to Build New Rural Areas" in 53 villages with the participation of 8,520 people. The results included cleaning 95 km of roads; planting and caring for 5,254 trees; dredging 26.5 km of canals and ditches; installing 15.2 km of power lines, worth 423.8 million VND...

In the coming time, the Party Committee, the government and socio-political organizations at all levels of Dam Rong district will continue to promote the effective implementation of the Movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization", "Skilled Mass Mobilization in New Rural Construction" associated with patriotic emulation movements, campaigns, creating a widespread emulation movement among the entire population associated with specific, practical models, suitable to the actual situation of localities, agencies and units. At the same time, innovate propaganda and mobilization work with diverse content and rich forms so that people understand, create consensus and promote the role of the people. Thereby, creating a widespread spread, bringing practical results, attracting the participation of many classes of people.
