At the working session with Japanese Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Imagawa Takuo, the two sides discussed and agreed to prioritize promoting cooperation in developing 5G networks according to the O-RAN standard, researching networks beyond 5G (Beyond 5G) and 6G, developing low-altitude satellite systems, promoting the development and application of AI, sharing experience in building laws and legal corridors for postal and logistics services. Minister Nguyen Manh Hung highly appreciated Japan's "Hiroshima AI Process" initiative to enhance cooperation in developing AI and announced that the Ministry of Information and Communications officially joined the Group of Friends of this initiative.
