Imprint of the emulation movement "Determination to win" in the Ninh Phuoc armed forces

Over the years, the emulation movement "Determination to Win" (TĐQT) in the armed forces of Ninh Phuoc district has always received regular and timely attention and leadership from the Party committees and authorities, along with the active participation of the Front, socio-political organizations and the people.

The role of the Military Command at all levels has been promoted; emulation activities to successfully carry out local defense and military tasks have been carried out synchronously and effectively. Officers and soldiers have a correct understanding of the meaning and effects of the TDQT movement, have a high sense of responsibility, and are ready to receive and complete well all assigned tasks.

Comrade Ngo Khanh, Chairman of the District People's Committee, said: Over the past 5 years, the Party Committee, the government and the Military Command at all levels from the district to the grassroots have always paid attention to leading, directing and organizing the emulation movement well, considering it a driving force and decisive measure to successfully complete the political tasks of the locality and the tasks of the district's armed forces. In order to create highlights and spread in social life, the emulation movement of the district's armed forces has been systematically operated according to the process: Launching - directing the building of typical models - committing to emulation - preliminary summary, final assessment - praising, rewarding and drawing lessons to maintain and develop the emulation movement more and more deeply and effectively.

Accordingly, closely following the political tasks of the locality, the armed forces and the annual emulation themes and contents, the Party committees, local authorities and Party committees and commanders of units in the district proactively organize and implement innovative emulation forms, creating a vibrant and effective emulation atmosphere, motivating collectives and individuals to strive to excellently complete their tasks. Party committees and commanders of agencies and units regularly pay attention to building the armed forces with high political quality and reliability; building strong and comprehensive agencies and units that are "Exemplary and typical". The Party organization in the armed forces has also been strengthened, the quality of activities has been increasingly improved; the work of developing Party members in the militia and self-defense forces and reserve mobilization forces has been focused on. In the past 5 years, 43 party members have been admitted to the militia and 17 party members have been recruited to the reserve force, raising the rate of party members to 25.1% in the militia and 7.54% in the reserve force; 9/9 military party cells have Party Committees, 9/9 Commanders of the Military Commands of communes and towns participate in the Party Committees. The whole district has selected and called 1,655 young people to join the army, reaching 100% of the annual target; 174 young people have been verified and recruited.

Lieutenant Colonel Le Xuan Toan, Political Commissar of the District Military Command, shared: In order for the TĐQT movement to spread and promote its effectiveness, the Party Committee - District Military Command focuses on doing a good job of political education, thoroughly studying and thoroughly understanding the Party's resolutions and directives; closely combining education according to the basic program with continuing education, ensuring the correct content, program, and prescribed time, high number of troops, and good quality.

The District Military Command also promoted the emulation movement "The military logistics sector follows Uncle Ho's teachings" effectively; ensured good standards, quantification and health care for soldiers, the average rate of healthy soldiers regularly reached over 98%, the regular barracks were green - clean - beautiful. In addition, officers and soldiers actively supported over 145 million VND for the "For the Poor" Fund, allocated over 200 million VND from the unit's production fund to support difficulties, visited and gave gifts to policy beneficiaries on holidays and Tet every year. Attention was paid to the work of military rear policies and gratitude; organized the search and collection of 15 martyrs' graves to the provincial Martyrs' Cemetery; coordinated the mobilization to donate 1 gratitude house and 3 comrades' houses. The movements "Rice jar for the poor", "Full affection of the army and people", "For Vietnam's seas and islands" Fund continued to be implemented with increasing effectiveness; coordinated the implementation of the mobile "Zero-dong stall" to support 1,020 gifts for poor households and people in difficult circumstances with a total amount of over 228 million VND. The District Military Command also did a good job of mobilizing the establishment of a fund to support capital for economic development for the poor in the area; mobilizing prestigious people among ethnic minorities, religious dignitaries and followers to implement the Party's policies and the State's laws. Notably, through the emulation movement "Military forces join hands to build new rural areas (NTM)", officers and soldiers contributed nearly 3,000 working days to build inter-village roads, dredge intra-field canals; mobilized families and relatives to actively take the lead in implementing the criteria for building NTM in the locality. Thanks to that, up to now, the whole district has 8/8 communes meeting the standards of new rural communes, 2/8 communes meeting the advanced standards of new rural areas, 18 villages recognized as new rural areas, 1 village meeting the model new rural area and the district was recognized as meeting the standards of new rural areas in 2019. The above activities of the district's armed forces have contributed to consolidating, building political strength and stability, developing the local socio-economy, contributing with the local Party Committee, government and people to successfully carry out the tasks of national defense and security, building an increasingly solid district defense area. With the results achieved in implementing the TDQT movement, the Ninh Phuoc District Military Command was awarded the title of "Determined to Win Unit" by the Military Region 5 Command in 2018 and 2022, and the title of "Comprehensively Strong Unit" in 3 years 2018, 2019 and 2022; The Provincial Military Command commended the "Skillful Civil Affairs" unit in 2023 along with many other outstanding achievements...

Continuing the achievements, Ninh Phuoc district is determined to maintain and further promote the effectiveness of the emulation movement in the new period of 2024-2029. Continue to promote propaganda and education work so that officers and soldiers can raise awareness and the importance of emulation work, have determination, the right motivation to compete, and enthusiastically compete to excellently fulfill assigned duties and tasks. Continue to carry out the comprehensive emulation movement on all targets, closely linking the emulation movement of the district's armed forces with the patriotic emulation movement and revolutionary action movements, campaigns of all levels and sectors.
